So I'm trying to figure out whether to go ahead and give my Dr. a call. I saw her on Tuesday and told her that I had been feeling 'off' and hadn't been sleeping well. She didn't seem too concerned and said that she would see me next week for my 36 week ultrasound. Well, yesterday I could barely drag myself out of bed until about 11 am. I was feeling kinda crampy and just plain irritable, and then I had several loose BMs and figured that it was the problem. I felt better for a few hours and then my boyfriend came home from work and we ate and I started to feel 'off' again. I kept having to pause the show that we were watching to go pee about every 10-15 minutes and I felt a lot of pressure "down there". I chalked it up to late pregnancy and we went to bed around 9:30. As soon as we laid down, I started getting these intense cramps in my back and lower belly all the way to my inner thighs and I really started hurting in my lady bits like I was being punched. I hardly slept at all last night and was up every 1-2 hours trying to have a BM but nothing ever came out. My boyfriend left for work about 6:30 this morning and I could barely get up to make his lunch and see him off. I went straight for a long soak in the tub and kept having chills and shivering in the hottest water that would come out of the tap, in addition to the huge constant cramping/pressure feeling. I then went to lay back down and cried because I was hurting so much, and decided after about an hour of laying down to take another soak. This time I could barely get out of the tub because I was hurting so badly. I dried off and got dressed and am now wrapped up in a blanket sitting on the couch, hoping and praying for some relief... but I can't figure out whether to call my doctor or just hope it passes
Advice?

Our Fran is very busy today. Ask your doc when in doubt! No one's experience is the same. Oh wtf. Why even go there. I'll save my breath. Already said too much. Byeee
BUT in case anyone was wondering, I did call the doctor after the first response and when Dr FINALLY got back to me, she said it was probably just a case of big baby small woman.
@Lydiadiane you are still my favorite.

For future reference, if you think you should call your doctor. Call. If your not sure if you should call, call. Better safe than sorry. It's their job to answer your questions. It's what you pay for.
Also if your doctor had reccomended you come in to be checked, I don't consider that a waste of time.
Even if you feel like a bother, you should never refrain from asking questions to your doc -- that's their area of expertise. I say all this in a not so smartass-y way in
hopes you use better judgment next time.
