Working with sick people, yuck!

Been very frustrated today thinking about how rude it is for my clients (I'm a hairstylist) to come to the salon sick knowing I'm pregnant. Other than washing my hands, which I do constantly, and using hand sanitizer non stop on top of that, what can I do to prevent getting sick?. We all know pregnant women have lower immune systems during pregnancy. People just have no consideration at all.

Ugh, tell me about it. People come into my work sick all the time and there are at least a half dozen pregnant women also working in the ER with me. How rude, right? 

.... Honestly. Wash your hands frequently and you'll be fine.

When I was pregnant our patients just would stop with the c-diff and MRSA. Someone even had E. Coli in their urine. So inconsiderate.

If you're incredibly concerned about getting sick, wear a mask. Otherwise, washing your hands (properly) is fine.

Oh my goodness, how dare they!  You should just go right home, never leave your house, and make sure you never come into contact with germs EVER.

Look, I understand not wanting to get sick, but you're going to be exposed to germs.  Life goes on.

And if they didn't come in would you complain how rude it is of them to take their business elsewhere and not support you financially when you're expecting a baby? 

Get a grip, the world doesn't revolve around you and your pregnancy.  Unless you're willing to hole up in your house for the rest of the pregnancy, you're going to be exposed to sick people, germs and bacteria.  Wash your hands, take your vitamins, eat well.

Wash your hands. Later, if you decide to have another kid then you will be dealing with plague-bringer little kids that are far worse than anything you've encountered at your salon.
