baby bullet question

Hello - so has anyone used one of the baby bullet machines to make baby food? I got one for my little one from a friend who didn't use it for very long. My LO is 4 months and I'm waiting until he's 6 months before starting solids, so I haven't used the baby bullet yet. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever used it to crush ice or frozen fruit? I was thinking about using it for myself to make a smoothie my lactation consultant recommended, but I don't want to damage it. It came with an extra set of blades, so I thinking I just try using one of the blades for ice and keeping the other one for baby food and see how it goes. But I was curious if anyone has tried it for ice/frozen fruit before. Thanks!

Sorry to bring up a zombie thread, but the baby bullet is no different than the regular nutri bullet, besides the color and unfortunately the price tag.... so it's a good thing you got it from a friend and didn't purchase a brand new one, in my opinion.
