Anyone Pregnant AGAIN on depo?

I preface this with the realization that a recent pregnancy and BF might be throwing things off, but I'm freaking out just a tad.

My DD is just under 4 mo old.  Early June I had the depo shot.  No bleeding or anything right after shot.  My period came back on June 18.  Nothing unusual about it.  Hubby and I had sex in early July (yeah, that was fun).  About 10 days ago or so I started to have this slight (yet different feeling) cramping, yet still no period. Tummy has been little upset and today lower back ache out of nowhere.  All just like when I got pregnant with DD.

My period should have started daysss ago.  I know...could be the depo or BF. I've never not had a period bc of the pill (been on many sorts). 

Slightly worried because I cannot have babies that are a year apart.  LORDY!  I've heard of plenty of ladies getting PG on depo.

Buying a test hasn't been easy bc MIL is in town and we're always shopping as family.  Think I'll run out tonight and get a test.

Wanted to see if anyone had experience with depo and pregnancy scares postpartum.    Is it possible for period to stop from only one dose?

It's against the TOU to ask us if you're pregnant, and sadly we really can't help! Get a test, that's the only way to know.

Sorry...I forgot to type my question at bottom....was trying to type while baby napped in my arms.  Wanted to see if anyone had experience with depo and pregnancy scares postpartum.    Is it possible for period to stop from only one dose?   A search shows that usually happens 6 months or later.  Actually took a test last week and it was negative but would've been too early most likely. 

Probably should've named post something different.  Didn't see a BC or postpartum board, so not sure if this was good fit.

If you think you're pregnant, take a test.  Someone else's experience has no bearing on yours.

That said, I had a shot of depo in August, after DD2's birth in June. I didn't get a period again until April.  (Literally the day after I called the doctor to schedule an appointment to get checked out, AF showed.)  I also took many pregnancy tests over that time; all were negative.

Go pee on the stick, we can't tell you if you're pregnant.

Good to hear that someone out there had a similar situation with her period and depo.  Wish I wouldn't have wasted that test last week, but of course I couldn't wait.  Getting to the store is difficult now with family in town and one car and a baby who refuses a bottle.  Even if latest test is negative, it'll be in the back of my mind until AF shows up. I won't be taking depo anymore bc it made me have anxiety over stupid things like the dishes.

I was on Depo for a year, year and a half - somewhere in there. I had no period during that time. I think one day of bleeding? Some spotting throughout, but that's all I really had. It's normal. Some women have periods while on Depo, some stop having periods entirely, from shot 1.

Test was negative this morning.  But,  I won't be 100% comfortable until AF shows up.  I want another baby but this would be wayyy too soon.

Thank @izza2.  My doctor didn't tell me much about the shot, including all the side effects.  They just kept pushing BC, so I gave in.
