GTKY: What is your birth plan? If you are a BTDT Mom, is your birth plan different than your previous pregnancy? Have you started taking birth classes or taken a hospital tour? I am a first time Mom, and my birth plan is that I would really like to have a natural child birth with no interventions. My husband and I started taking a natural child birth class about 4 weeks ago (The Bradley Method) which is a 12 week course. We have found it really informative so far, and I love the teacher. I also like how the course covers medical interventions and when they are necessary, so just in case something goes not as planned, I will hopefully at least know the process. We have not done a hospital tour, but I have looked through all of the information we received about the labor and delivery rooms, and I am super excited to know that all rooms are private, and I can request a squatting bar and birth ball!! So even though I haven't seen it in person, it helps to know what is available for me and I just have to know to ask. One shocking thing, is that pretty much every single hospital in my area had a c-section rate of over 30%...wow.

We plan to deliver at a hospital, but we'll be using the Bradley method. I'm hoping for med-free and no epidural. This week is the last of our 12 week series of childbirth classes. I'm a FTM, so no previous experience. Our hospital tour is on the 27th!

GTKY: What is your birth plan? If you are a BTDT Mom, is your birth plan different than your previous pregnancy? Have you started taking birth classes or taken a hospital tour? I'm a FTM, don't have a birth plan bc my plan is basically, give me whatever meds you got and get this baby out of me alive. We took the classes and tour, mostly (my reasoning) so DH and I wouldn't feel completely dependent on others' advice, which may or may not be accurate or safe to begin with.
Edit: tagged the wrong person, oops!

GTKY: What is your birth plan? If you are a BTDT Mom, is your birth plan different than your previous pregnancy? Have you started taking birth classes or taken a hospital tour? FTM here. I would like to have a med free birth, and we have hired a doula to help us thorough the process. Luckily my ob is very supportive of this choice so I don't feel like I am going to have to push back against my doctors to make it happen. I also just keep telling myself that you never know what will happen during labor, and that if things don't go to plan it will be ok. We start our birth class (birthing from within) in 2 weeks, and will also be meeting with the OB nurse at my doctors during my next appointment to go over setting up a hospital tour and classes that they recommend we take.

GTKY: What is your birth plan? If you are a BTDT Mom, is your birth plan different than your previous pregnancy? Have you started taking birth classes or taken a hospital tour? I am a FTM and think I am pretty laid back. I plan on getting an epidural but I know that things happen and I may have to go with the flow and do whatever is best for baby in the moment. Our hospital recommended doing the tour/birthing class 6 weeks before my due date, which right now seems like it's cutting it close. I am really excited to check it out though!

The constipation is back & I don't know what else to do. Switched prenatals, am taking Daily magnesium & a stool softener already. I eat a ton of fruit/fiber. And now my dr wants me to get on iron...but I know it's just gonna make it worse & I don't wanna!!
GTKY: What is your birth plan? If you are a BTDT Mom, is your birth plan different than your previous pregnancy? Have you started taking birth classes or taken a hospital tour?
Took the tour last month, start classes next month. On the "give me all the drugs" plan!
GTKY: What is your birth plan? If you are a BTDT Mom, is your birth plan different than your previous pregnancy? Have you started taking birth classes or taken a hospital tour? first timer, I feel really organised in practical house baby stuff but actual labour side I'm bit behind, our hospital doesn't offer tours and I hasn't sorted any classes yet, I've read so much and watched lots of bits online that I feel prepared for birth and what to expect but is that naive, should I deff be attending classes too?
GTKY: What is your birth plan? If you are a BTDT Mom, is your birth plan different than your previous pregnancy? Have you started taking birth classes or taken a hospital tour? FTM here. Attaching a picture of it. I answered a bit of this in my rants/raves/questions.

My plan has always been to have to plan. My hope is to go into labor on my own again, get to the hospital with time to get my epidural, and deliver a healthy baby vaginally! No hospital tour ncessary, I work on the floor where I will be for labor and delivery and post partum and even if I didn't work there, I delivered three other babies there
GTKY: What is your birth plan? If you are a BTDT Mom, is your birth plan different than your previous pregnancy? Have you started taking birth classes or taken a hospital tour? I am a scheduled C-section, my first was wedged in my pelvis so my OB recommends a repeat.
