So the past few weeks, I've had blood in my CM. Not a lot but it has been bright red and obviously very scary for a PGAL brain. I went into my OBs office a week ago and they checked the HB (was fine) and took some samples because they thought I might have an infection. Nothing popped up but she gave me a prescription just in case and to help my excess CM.
Fast forward to today, the bleeding returns but slightly worse. I'm also RH neg so I also tend to freak out about any blood. I called my OB and of course they're already closed. The doc on call (who I love, delivered my DD) tells me to just go get checked out at the ER.
I'm waiting for DH to get home in a few minutes so he can take me. My brain sucks bc it's telling me everything is probably ok, I spotted a lot with DD, but the other part is worried to no end. Sorry this has become a book but I just needed to talk somewhere because I'm just scared. And I know they probably won't even be able to tell me much but I just want to make sure all is ok and I follow my OBs rec.
Ugh I'm sorry you're going through this. I feel like these situations always tend to happenen when the regular doctor's office is closed . Thinking of you and sending positive vibes! Please keep us updated.
Sending positive thoughts and hugs! I hope everything turns out to be OK. I think you're making a good decision to get checked out and FX you get good news and can relax a bit after.

Many hugs and peaceful thoughts coming your way! If you have a smartphone there are some lovely apps that can help ease the anxiety while you wait in the ER. Might sound dumb but they've gotten me through many anxious situations. Fingers crossed and hoping everything's just fine!
ETA specific apps I use and can attest to: "Lightning Bug" is a great noise generator you can go wild with customizing, "Pacifica" is a mood manager/guided meditations for when you're feeling extra anxious, and "Calm" is more geared toward meditation but has some lovely audio/visual scenes you can focus on. I know there's really nothing I can do or say to make your situation better but if there's a chance these will help you feel better about it, I'm definitely throwing them out there!
It may very well be just fine but it's scary nonetheless! You are doing everything you can. And they may give you rhogam (not sure if it's called that in the us too but in Canada that's what I've gotten as I'm rh negative too) and that way you won't worry about that. Best of luck!
@fourpsinapod I am so sorry you are going through this. I hope everything is ok. I'll be thinking of you all weekend, sending positive thoughts your way.
Still here.. Not many answers yet. They did an US and said baby looked ok. I peeked at the report that they left and HB was 149 measuring a day behind my EDD. They don't let you see the baby if you come in through the ER. They just did a pelvic exam on me and mentioned my "friable" cervix and lots of CM. I was just checked for an infection last week so I'm assuming that will come back normal. She thinks that most likely bleeding is coming from my cervix but I'll let you know if anything changes.. Thanks for all the positivity and good thoughts and prayers. I'll give a final update once I get one.
