Low amnioti fluid 37 weeks

Yesterday my ultrasound showed breech baby & low fluids at 6.5 cm. My doctor ordered a ultrasound for friday & said if my fluids are any lower baby will come via   section on friday. Is it possible to raise fluid levels in 3 days so far into my pregnancy?

    It can't hurt to drink a ton of water... My mother had that issue with my brother so we brought it up to the dr early in the pregnancy and that was what they told us.

    I've had lots of experience with this!! With DD1 I started having low fluid issues at 23 weeks, was under a specialists care for the remainder of my pregnancy. Best advice: REST and DRINK TONS OF WATER. It yo-yo'd throughout the pregnancy and the goal was to hit 37 weeks, as was best for the baby development.. At 37w4d I had another weekly ultrasound and dropped under 5. Within 12 hours we had to have her via c-section and she is perfect :o) She was also breech since week 20 and never flipped- makes it tougher for them to move without lots of fluid.

    This pregnancy has been alot smoother. I went in 2 weeks ago for my final growth ultrasound and my levels were at 8 (they consider 10+ normal). I was put on bedrest for 3 days and to drink plenty of fluid. Went back 3 days later and was at 14. Dr took me off bedrest but still said to get off my feet as much as possible. I've had weekly ultrasounds since (2 other since which I was around 10 at both). They are continuing my weekly ultrasounds until my scheduled csection at 39 weeks (earlier due to gestational diabetes).

    SO, the answer is YES you can raise them!!!

    Good luck! I had the same situation but was at 2 cm, so they did a section right then. My doctor goes by 7 and under... Hopefully you can get in some extra fluids and raise that level! If not, have comfort in knowing that he's been cooking, and should do great in the real world. Sending good vibes your way.
