New to it all.

Hi. A little about me/us I'm 36 DH is 43. We have been married going on 6 years. The whole time we have been married we have NTNP the last 2 years we have been trying. The last year under my my old OBGYN. His work changed insurance so I had to change doctors and I lIke the new OBGYN better. And at my first appointment we discussed everything the old one did to help us. And she sent us to a Fertility specialists, and I love him. We have been going for about 3 months so we are still doing all the test. I had a D&C done last week because I had a thick lining, and I had 8 polyps removed from my uterus; 6 of them he said looked cancerous. DH just went in for his 2nd SA to recheck his morphology and the 2nd test is better but we are still only at a 2% on the 2nd test. I go back to the dr on Friday and we will be working up a game plan.
I'm sorry their are so many on this board but I'm glad that it is here.

Welcome. I just want to say I'm so sorry you have to be here, but your with a wonderful group of ladies. Hopefully your stay here is short. I'm glad to hear you like your doctor. Have you tried any types of treatments yet while you were seeing your OB?

@Toby102008 we did 9 rounds at clomid. When I tried talking to the old OBGYN about getting more test or having DH tested she said that this usely works and left it at that. I'm glad we changed.

@katymarie101 Wow, that's crazy. I've never heard of anyone doing 9 rounds of Clomid. I'm hoping she did an hsg test first to make sure your tubes were even open. My obgyn wouldn't do more than 6 and my RE only wants to do 4 on the Femara since I've already done 3 on Clomid. They worry because these drugs can increase the risks of certain cancers. I've always heard Clomid has about a 50% success rate if you're ovulating with it. But that's within the first 6 cycles. I'm glad you found a better doctor. Good luck to you.

@katymarie101 wow 9 rounds of clomid!  You are a woman warrior.  I HATED clomid.  I did it for 3 rounds and waved the white flag.  I actually developed an insanely large cyst from it and had to sit out for 2 cycles. In fairness, I have PCOS so the specialist at my new clinic said those two don't play together well.

Thank you everyone. I hate that we are all here but it's nice that we have a place to go. I will be here awhile as we are in a 3 to 6 month hold as I take medication for the polyps, as they were pre cancerous and we are going to make sure they don't come back before we start with the baby making.
