I'm new to the forum. About a week and a half ago I had 3 days of spotting and it subsided. I was due for my period. It never came. HPT negative of course. Now my nipples (just the nipples) are tender. Not pregnant. I don't know why this is happening. It is now CD 45. I have been fairly regular at 30-35 day cycles. Anyone have this experience? They don't know why but the doctor feels I am not ovulating consistently. My BBTs don't rise. Never got a positive on OPK. Recent ultrasound shows no cysts.. no endometriosis..
Sounds like an anovulatory cycle. There's a common saying here that you're regular til you're not. Your period can change and some people have a longer anovulatory cycle once or twice a year. If you hit 60 days with no AF, call your dr and they may prescribe some thing (like Provera) to get it started.

Hi @lissylew. I would agree that the lack of temp rise and inability to turn an OPK sound anovulatory. There's a possibility that O could be really late, have you continued to temp? I ovulated at cd33 this cycle and confirmed that through a progesterone draw at cd39. Another thought it is possible that your three days of spotting was your period, it sounds like it showed up the same time as a typical cycle for you.

Funny you asked. First thing I did before I got up today was look at my phone and checked the forums. I didn't get up so I did a temp reading after I saw your comment. It's 36.61 which is .3 higher than it was last week.. i do celcius.. canadian..could be a one off. I'll try again tomorrow and the next day. I sometimes don't know if my Temps are reliable because I do shift work and don't always temp the exact same time every day. I stopped temping before because it never rose and I got discouraged..
There's some advice on temping with shift work in fertility friend. I know many women are still able to see a temp shift even with working irregular hours.
