Is no one participating in these anymore? I'll try and be better!
Weeks:22w 4d
Next milestone/appointment? I had an appt on Monday. It was my first appt after my a/s. My doc told me that baby had an echogenic focus of the left ventricle. She says it's super common, so she doesn't suggest seeing a specialist. So I think we've decided to just wait til baby gets here and then see. Did anyone else have this happen? I'm trying not to stress.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I wish we could settle on a name!
Questions? Just if anyone else has had a spot on the ultrasound like ours.
GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast? I like eggs and toast and bacon or sausage.
@MollySm I haven't had an appt after my u/s yet (scheduling worked out that I had one right before it), but I can imagine how scary it is to hear of any anomaly on your baby. If your dr isn't concerned, try not to worry and not to google it (easier said then done, I know!). Sending happy, heart-healing thoughts your way!

Next milestone/appointment? Appt on August 3. Will likely go over u/s if there was anything to note, but I figure if there was anything serious I probably would have gotten a phone call by now.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: Finally stopped dressing to at all hide my bump, which got huge the past couple of weeks. Still not ready to have that conversation with everyone and their mother, but was just over looking frumpy.
Questions? Anyone else uncomfortable talking about their bump?
GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast? I usually have an egg (or two) on a corn tortilla, or whatever bread is on hand (DH bakes so it varies). If I have time, I'm all about homemade pancakes and turkey bacon. (Now I want some!)
Next milestone/appointment? Next appointment is Aug 2nd which will include my Glucose test.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: sorry I haven't been here much. It's been a crazy week with my SSs. With the custody arrangement we get 2 full weeks each summer with the boys and they just got picked up at 10 this morning so now I'm laying back in bed trying to recoup a bit. They started off the week being difficult. The middle of the week was pretty good but last night and this morning they were both being little buttheads. I know a lot of it is because they miss their dad while he's stuck at work and they are used to him being off for the vacation time but with his new job he doesn't have all the vacation time he used to have. I'm just worn out and ready to crash.
Questions? Not from me. @MollySm I'm sorry you are stressing about the ultrasound. Hopefully it's nothing. I wish I had more to say but I've not had any experience with that myself. Big hugs!
@lajoliedreamer I get a little self-conscious about my bump but if someone recognizes that it's a bump and I'm not just fat it actually makes me feel so much better! We were on a little road trip on Tuesday visiting some waterfalls in Northeast Iowa and at one point I had tied my shirt up because it was so stinking hot and humid. I felt a little awkward so I asked DH and the boys if they thought it looked like I was just fat but the boys immediately responded that it looked like a baby bump. (One of them said I look pregnant even though my belly was still a little jiggly.) Since they are 9 and 11 I take their comments more seriously since I know DH would be polite and make me feel better. They are still working on being tactful so it must look like a bump after all, right? I think for me it is easier to be vocal about it because I have tried to be very open about my losses so I tell people that I'm very happy to be at this point because it hasn't been an easy road to get here. I like to educate people about how common loss really is and help make it less of a social stigma to talk about it. Ultimately, you should do what you feel comfortable with and don't let other people make you feel like you should be ashamed or embarrassed. Most people are either oblivious to your bump, don't want to put their foot in their mouths in case they are wrong, or figure you will bring it up if you want to tell them. There really aren't too many people that will actually have the balls to say anything(at least in my experience). Big hugs for you also. Hang in there!
GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast? I love french toast with bacon and a big glass of chocolate milk.
