Re: ~*Tuesday Ticker Change*~
Baby-related happenings this week: The lovely waiting game. I met with a different doctor yesterday because my OB was at the hospital delivering another baby (wish it was mine!). I've made no progress and my cervix is still high and closed. Last night I actually had a contractions lasting about 2 hours at 7 minutes apart but I went to bed and they fizzled out, just as they always do. I am having an ultrasound tomorrow or Thursday to check fluid levels and they will likely start induction on Friday unless I have the baby before then. I'm seriously trying everything I can think of before then.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? I should be grateful to be home relaxing because the stress of work would've broken me by this point. Symptoms - restlessness and difficulty sleeping at night, emotional instability. Physically I feel ok except that walking anything more than a mile has me exhausted.
GTKY: What's the thing you're looking forward to doing most once you have your babe? I'm looking forward to taking LO for walks and I'm excited to have a summer baby because there are lots of summer events so we can get out and about. Selfishly, I'm looking forward to having a beer!
39, pumpkin (although I feel like a whale)
Baby-related happenings this week:
Doc appt on thursday. Other than just lots of waiting.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
I just wish I could get better sleep. I know I get a lot of sleep lately but it's not very productive. No matter what, I'm always tired. No raves. Baby has been moving less, no more heart burn or right side pain so I'm assuming baby has dropped. Hopefully these are all good signs.
GTKY: What's the thing you're looking forward to doing most once you have your babe?
I can't wait to sleep on my stomach and drink some wine and go running. I have a beautiful expensive jogger my godparrnts got for us that I cannot wait to break in before it gets too cold.
39 weeks- a mini skateboard, pumpkin or American shorthair cat!
Baby-related happenings this week:
I have an appointment this afternoon.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
He hasn't been moving as much which is freaking me out so I'll bring that up today. Other than that nothing is new. Hard time sleeping and all my joints are sore.
GTKY: What's the thing you're looking forward to doing most once you have your babe?
Taking him on walks and snuggling!
40 weeks, watermelon!
Baby-related happenings this week:
Just playing the waiting game and stocking the freezer.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
So many contractions! But so far they aren't doing anything.
GTKY: What's the thing you're looking forward to doing most once you have your babe?
I'd be lying if I didn't say having a drink.
39 weeks, pumpkin
Baby-related happenings this week:
Had my 39w appt today and will evict next Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Have my 40w appt Monday where they will do a full u/s to check all things baby related to make sure she is kosher to stay in a few more days.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
Can't sleep for anything, which is mostly when the BH contractions come! I have sharp rib pain and swelling is ridiculous. Baby is still very active, which I am thankful for because it keeps me sane.
GTKY: What's the thing you're looking forward to doing most once you have your babe?
Sleeping longer than an hour and on my belly! Bending down without intense knee and leg pain. Alcohol and of course no more swelling!
