Ladies with cerclages...we need updates

we had several ladies with cerclages here.  Let's do an update.  I just scheduled my removal for two weeks.  I'll be 37 weeks.  I hope you all are doing well.

I had mine removed almost two weeks ago. I'm now 37+6. That's two weeks past when I had DS. I've been having regular contractions, but they aren't doing anything as far as dilation goes. My doctor thinks I might make it a bit longer.

Mine is actually coming out on the 28th now.  36w3d.  With my first cerclage removal my water broke two days later.  After second cerclage removal I lasted two weeks bc I have so much scar tissue it's like a working cervix now:). (My original post cut off)...anyways, I will start getting cervix checks weekly from then on.  I contract throughout the whole second and third tri, so until my water breaks or I get the awful back contractions I don't know if it's the real deal.  I actually had legit back contractions last weekend.  My cerclage held strong though and my cervix was still at 3.5.  I would like to last until 38 weeks, so I am hoping not deliver just yet.

I am so glad to see how well we have all done.  Thanks for the updated and bring on the babies

I had mine removed at 35 weeks, 6 days. No issues after just felt lots of pressure when getting it removed.  I'm 38 weeks today..as of last week's I was 4 cm dilated.

I haven't posted in a long time. I had mine removed 36 4 in the OR they couldn't do it in office which sucked had to have another epidural. As of last week I was 4cm 70% effaced and nothing. I am 38 2 waiting but if she doesn't come then I'm induced on Monday

I debated about having this done in the OR with anesthesia.  My last two removals were miserable bc of scar tissue.

Well, my cerclage is out.  I had a bunch of pressure last night that I had never had with my others.  I had contractions too, but that is the norm for me.  I went to the Dr this AM and he said let's just take it out two days early.  I am 36w1d.  I doubt anything will happen for a couple weeks.  At least, I hope.  It's nice to not worry about putting too much pressure on my cerclage.  He said I have a bunch of scar tissue.  The removal was just as awful as my others, but he got it out.

Sounds like we've had a lot of cerclage success stories! I'm glad everyone seems to be doing pretty well. 

Cerclage update! I'm 39 weeks tomorrow! The cerclage did its job, and I'm so grateful to make it this far without bed rest. I'm getting induced on Thursday. 

Lots of pressure, but I've pretty much stayed dilated to 2 and 70% effaced for a couple of weeks now.
