I'm starting to plan our Disney Trip for April with our cousins and their 5 yr old little girl who loves princesses. Can't wait! Love seeing Disney thru little kids. No vacation this year so we are DEFINITELY looking forward to April!

@sportiegrl1213 I'm already planning our September one (2017) because 1. I'm a planner 2. I hate not having a vacation to plan and 3. It's for 18 people which is the most I've ever planned for so I want to have my ducks in a row.
Edit: I love Disney myself but it did absolutely add a completely different love when we started taking our daughter. She'll be almost 5 when we go again so I'm excited!
@maf9866 you sound like me LOL. I'm a total planner. And WOW 18 people, you definitely have your work cut out for you!
I work for Disney so we go at least 2 times a year, I'm missing it like crazy this year! Only makes me even more excited for April.
Happy planning!!

@ibabyloveb87 That sounds delicious! I wasn't put on any special diet, so not sure on that, but I did eat gummi bears the night before and I still passed, so I'm sure you'll be fine!
@amye102485 I think I'm going to avoid any sweets just in case, but I'm all about carb loading if they want me to! I'm just nervous about the whole fasting thing, but my mom is coming and she can chat away for the whole 3 hours so hopefully that'll take my mind off of the fact that I haven't had food. Poor Baby B. He loves meal time

Ugh super jealous! I used to work for the Disney store but that was in college, when I moved home there weren't any close enough to my house. I keep telling my husband we need to make the move so I can work there. We go as often as we can! Last year we ended up there 3 times (one weekend we literally just went for the Halloween party because we got a crazy good deal on airfare and we are dvc members). But I have been going crazy not being able to go this year, then right when we could go again it's tax season so we can't go until May but my whole family wants to go too so September ended up working the best. It is hard to wait that long!

I work for ESPN in CT and we are owned by the Mouse. I won't leave because of our deep discount and free passes. Ha. Good enough reason for me to stay. OMG I love Halloween at Disney and I'm obsessed with Christmas there too. We did that a few years, including last year we went right after Thanksgiving. My parents live in FL so it only makes us visit even more. And more so now that we will be having a baby soon. September is a nice time of year to go. It used to be nice and quiet, but there are no quiet times anymore. It's so crazy how busy it is all the time!

I passed my GD test!!!!!!!! All the Disney talk has me itching to go. We did season pass for two years (my sis was in Disney college program the first year and we went down to visit her a lot). We didn't renew this year, and I'm having withdrawals. Food and Wine is my favorite Disney festival, and I've had to talk myself out of scheduling a quick trip down during my maternity leave several times.

me too! I have to keep telling myself that I don't want to take a baby that young and just to be patient, but it really takes a lot of convincing. Haha
@sportiegrl1213 I keep telling my brother (who is going to college for sports broadcasting) to find a way into ESPN so we can use him as an excuse to go. I like fall and winter there the best, but I did love Star Wars Weekends too, but I understand why they stopped them. Still a bummer. We went to the Christmas party this past December- I had to see the Osbourne lights one last time
@maf9866 I had a trip in my cart for the last week of Food and Wine when they were running the free dining promo but thankfully I kept myself from pulling the trigger. The struggle is real though.
On the topic of vacation planning, we have 2 vouchers for a cruise that we were supposed to take in February. We got our BFP like a week before we were supposed to leave and my doc wrote a letter that said I couldnt go because of Zika. RCI gave us vouchers for a future cruise in the amount of the cruise fare we spent. It was a 10 day cruise and we don't wanna go for longer than 7 because of LO. Because it's a shorter trip, we get a suite instead of a cruise cabin! We're going November 2017. I already told H I'm getting a drink package because MAMA NEEDS A BEVERAGE!

It's Friday and I don't work this weekend! I'm hoping DH gets the dresser put together so I can finish decorating the nursery. Other than that, I can't wait to spend the weekend relaxing with no set plans.
@MRSCORKER ... Yay! I love cruises! And you must do the drink package... It's 100% worth it
Usually, H gets one and he sneaks me drinks because I don't usually drink much but this time, I'm getting my own!
My one regret from my cruise last year was not getting the drink package. I tried to drink whatever was on special that day but still spent way more than it would have cost. That was our first cruise and can't wait to do another one!!
I have always wanted to go on a cruise! FI has an irrational fear of drowning though, he's had a recurring dream about drowning since he was a child and won't do it =(

My mom would say that's a past life regression. She's a bit crunchy. lol

@AllyTheKid I've been on several cruises and most of the time, you don't even realize you're on a boat because it's so big and there is so much to do. The water in the Caribbean is generally pretty calm so the boat doesn't rock too much unless it's weather related. You can also request a cabin that is low and towards the middle of the ship where you feel movement the least.

Disney!! We booked ours for Feb 17 as soon as packages released in June. My cousins are Disney fanatics (we live in NW Ohio and last year they had season passes lol) and walked me through a bunch of stuff. I can't wait to take DD (she's 7). She's not into the princesses as much as Star Wars lately, and we're going to book a breakfast with Lilo and Stitch, and with any luck, Chef Mickey. I may be more excited than her lol. Little guy is probably going to stay here with my mom and we'll take him next time; it's silly to take him this round.
Also I passed my GD screen with flying colors, doc said not to worry about my slightly elevated BP (with pre-e last time, I get concern easily), and I am officially cleared as an eligible VBAC candidate.
Oh, and count us in for heat indexes in the triple digits and a heat advisory through tomorrow night, so I am super happy for central air.

@Kaytee1087 yay for passing and booking your trip!!

@Kaytee1087 soo jealous that you have a trip booked! My dd loves almost everything but it always makes me laugh when she starts talking Star Wars. My dh and I are both kind of nerdy and we will sit and watch the movies all the time or have random discussions, but as she is 3, we don't watch them with her and yet she can name almost all of the old characters and a good deal of the new ones. It's like she was born with inherent knowledge of the nerdy things. She also likes Marvel characters so I can't wait until Disney gets the rights back for those and can start developing some good rides and experiences!!
I posted in the nursery set up tread... but I'm so excited, I needed to post here too lol... our nursery furniture just arrived!!! It looks exactly like I expected and the color of the room, that was a major issue for us, looks PERFECT with it all!
@maf9866 We found a Captain Phasma costume 25% off $30 at the Disney store a few days ago; DD is now Captain Phasma for Halloween lol. Then of course we had to get Captain Phasma PJs and a Kylo Ren water bottle (also all on clearance). I was never a mega Star Wars fan (didn't hate, didn't love), but DH is and is now converting DD lol. We also have Vader's Little Princess, which is an adorable read.

Those are awesome deals! It's strange in my family because more girls are fans then the boys are. My mom, then me and my daughter. we have that book too! It was part of my dh's Father's Day present last year. I think it's cute, I want to get the other ones too but haven't gotten there yet. I hope your dd enjoys all of the Star Wars stuff Disney now offers. Then you'll have to plan to take her back when Star Wars Land opens!
@Kaytee1087 and @LMNOBaby congrats on passing!!! I was relieved to pass mine too! I have already eaten ice cream twice today, so I guess good thing I passed. I dunno if I could survive the rest of the pregnancy avoiding all sweets.
I had my 28 week appointment and baby boy was head down! I almost did the happy dance cause my last one was breech and stayed that way by then the rest of the time. I know he could still flip but he doesn't move a ton so I have my fingers crossed he is content where he is now!
