Re: TTGP Weekly Graduation Thread - Week of 18 July 2016
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 5
What were you doing TGKU? BD'd constantly
How was your timing? Awesome - we did every day for almost 2 weeks before O day
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? Nothing out of the ordinary - CM stayed usual cycle, but I have been insanely tired these last 3 days
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I overnighted an Eagles onesie and am trying to hold out 24 hours and tell DH with it wrapped out with the FRER - If I can hold out that long!
Anything else to add? I had not ovulated from February to June and fully did not expect to get KU'd this month. I have PCOS and while always hopeful I wasn't super optimistic given my irregular history. But yay! Happy to answer any questions of course.
I want to thank all the lovely ladies here for their kind words and wisdom and answering any silly questions I had while here. Hope everyone gets their BFPs soon!!

Team Blue X 2!
I'm not sure of this b/c I don't really track (despite ALL of the good advice I got on TTGP). I think it was CD28 and confirmed by blood test CD30.
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 11. Went off BCP (which I had been on for over a decade) June 2015. Took me awhile to learn about the process, and I learned the most from this board.
What were you doing TGKU? Lots of sex. I tried temping but would have to abandon it b/c I would constantly forget, not do it at the same time every day. We travel so much for work, I finally agreed to unassisted IUI (no Clomid or other fertility drugs).
How was your timing? Not very good until we had help!
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I didn't and still don't have any symptoms. It's still very early, I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. HCG is doubling, so that's giving a bit of peace of mind.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I just told him when he got home. I said, "well, it worked, looks like I"m pregnant". I'm not real demonstrative!
Anything else to add? I would be happy to disclose more detail on the unassisted IUI procedure. I had a lot of anxiety about it b/c I had previously said I would not pursue any treatments should we not be successful otherwise. After having all tests done and determining that I was healthy, tubes open, egg #s good, & H's SA passed, I believed that we were having a timing issue and agreed to getting a little help placing everything where it needed to go and when. It worked on the first try and it was very easy. I'm embarrassed that I made such a big deal about it and tried to cancel the night before. I'm not kidding when I say I was asking the doctor when I was going to feel discomfort and he said, "I'm done!" The procedure took less than 60 seconds, I'm not exaggerating.
I also want to add that this group is a class act. I was more active in 2015 and earlier this year but took a break recently as work ramped up quite a bit. In any case, I learned more from this group than any other place and I love the science-based advice that is so soundly given. I have no patience for people who don't follow the rules and whine about not getting support - this group is incredibly supportive and the people are kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. Even though I didn't post every day, I gained a lot from the time I have spent here and am wishing everyone here good health and productive TTC efforts. I hope you all get what you are looking for. Thank you.

IUI #2 - BFP 7/1/20 -- EDD 3/14/21
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 1
What were you doing TGKU? PNV, preseed (as lube, not inserted), charting
How was your timing? -5, -4, -3, 0, +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I tried not to SS, but the last few nights I've had a nauseous hollow feeling in my stomach. Also my boobs are super itchy (but I've had that problem in the heat before). And if you look at my chart, it's triphasic.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I don't know! We are going camping with friends this weekend, to a beer festival...
Anything else to add? I tested three times with FMU, and used the same urine sample cup. I looked online and that didn't seem to be a problem. I used a wondfo and got a faint line, then used a blue generic CVS early detection test and got a line, and then a FR rapid response test and got a line.
Also I'm feeling a little guilty because I haven't been trying for long at all and some of you ladies have been. This board has been so great.

Enjoy the moment! You totally deserve it, so don't feel guilty, please. It's just the luck of the draw! And if anything, it gives you that frame of reference that maybe most girls who get pg their first month trying don't otherwise have, a little perspective, and that much more Gratitude!!!! Yay!!!! Wishing you and your DH a happy and healthy pg journey!!! :D

How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 10/10, 4 months charting
What were you doing TGKU? : Letrozole 5 mg. IUI
How was your timing? -2, IUI, night of IUI, O+1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I have had a persistent cramp in my lower adomenon primarily on the left but right now it is dead center from CD 8 on. I have felt this before though and it meant that AF was due. My breasts hurt a lot, but also a symptom of AF. I thought I was out!
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I was not going to test. I did not even use FMU. So I did not test when he was home. I just wanted to drink a lot of coffee and I figured I would test. When I got a really faint line, I freaked out and called him immediately. Then I took a picture. Then we discussed the picture. I had to wait for the beta but I tested every morning before and he was the one to go check. It has been kind of a really awesome experience.
Anything else to add? This was my second IUI. I was diagnosed with "unknown infertility." Grrrr...Our numbers were great. His count was crazy high and I had two mature follicles. This process has been really scary and tough. It was hard to hope because we were disappointed so many times.
When I started with the first IUI, there were a few posts out there about IUI not really working very often. I hope that my experience gives someone hope.

How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
5/5 TTCAL Not sure how many total.
What were you doing TGKU?
I've done everything from charting to medicated cycles. This cycle was unmedicated but tracked with temping, CM, CP and OPKs.
How was your timing?
-2, -1 Two days HIO and we hit the mark. Tracking is your friend.
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
Least symptom-y BFP yet. Nothing really. A little bloated and bad acne. Nothing out of the ordinary.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner?
Showed him the test for confirmation that I wasn't seeing things.
Anything else to add?
*TW:loss mentioned* After 2 first tri losses, I'm being cautiously optimistic. This is my earliest BFP yet, but I'll feel better once I have my betas done this week. Thanks ladies for the support and if anyone had TTC questions, you're always welcome to message me.

@nwegman7878! I'm so freaking happy for you! Like I've said a couple of times before I'm always happy for the ladies here who get BFPs and are able to move on to their BMBs (and on with their lives from this whole TTC mess!) but I'm always especially excited for ladies who had to deal with IF/loss(es).
Selfishly I'm going to be a little sad to see you go. I just got you back! I missed you while you were taking a mental health break (though I totally understand and I'm glad you did what was best for you and your husband!) and now you're leaving again.
I wish you all the very best going forward. I hope this is your take-home baby. And I hope, somehow despite being PGAL, you're able to find all the joy and happiness that you deserve with your pregnancy.

@NamelessAria Thank you for such a heartfelt response. Our stories, although different, have paralleled each others many times before. You're one of the ladies I cheer for most on this board because I truly understand the difficulties that you've encountered and overcome during your TTC journey. As you stated, all BFPs are exciting but for those of us who have been around the block a few times, the BFPs are just that much more special. I truly wish you the best of luck in your TTC journey and that you'll shortly be able to join our many graduates on the other side. As much as I've enjoyed being a part of TTGP and I'm being cautious with my optimism of this BFP, I hope that for mine and your next BFP that PGAL concerns are something we never have to worry about. Feel free to reach out whenever you need to. You've lent an ear and support many times and I'd be happy to return the favor any day.
