Zofran saved my life my first pregnancy, only way I was able to go to work. I had really bad morning (but really all day) sickness for 18 weeks with DD.
So far not throwing up with this pregnancy, but I have some zofran left over than I'm keeping handy if my nausea decides to kick it up a notch.
Here are some remedies that are helping me so far.
1) Psi bands (they alleviate a majority of the nausea by putting pressure on your pressure points
2) Ginger chews from Trader Joes (when I start to feel queasy I chew on one and it helps my stomach)
3) Ginger tea (I drink this in place of my morning coffee)
4) Doterra Peppermint oil (I put a few drops on a diffuser necklace that I wear and it helps with any offensive smells that might trigger ms. It also treats headaches and migraines when applied on your temples)
5) Daily doses of B12 (I take one every morning with my prenatal vitamins and it helps Witt nausea and gives me energy to get through the day)
It geckos to keep your stomach from getting empty. But seriously if you feel like you cannot live your life because of the morning sickness go to your doctor!

FYI, there is a huge multi-district lawsuit ongoing with Zofran at the moment (originally intended for nausea during chemotherapy, promoted for pregnancy related nausea as an off-label use, was found to have risks). I don't have all the facts of the case but it's worth investigating the risks of this drug.
Edited to add that another study came out in May that indicated no increased risk to fetus in patients who used Zofran.
I'm not a doctor and don't know enough about the suit to say whether or not it's safe, but it's probably worth looking into very thoroughly. I don't mean to raise an alarm, just have this info as we were discussing it w/a group of attorney friends recently.
@onefootinthebayou yes thank you! I read all the studies about zofran the first round before I took it and knew there was some risk involved (I'm a former scientist - I always read the literature!) I took it out of necessity though because I really couldn't function without it.
Fingers crossed that I won't have that horrible morning sickness this time around, but for those who were like me and the sickness disrupts normal functioning, zofran is an option that is available. I should have added in my original post some of the other things I tried first - preggie pops, ginger, I even tried those nausea wrist bands!
I was feeling really sick last week, but drinking ginger ale (and taking ginger gravol), plus getting more sleep and eating something right before bed/first thing in the morning seems to have helped! Fingers crossed it stays this way! -KL 8weeks
I had it my entire pregnancy with DD, nothing ever worked, the only thing that sometimes helped was fresh ginger, peel it, slice it very thing, soak in a pitcher of water, the fresh ginger water helped some days

Diclegis saved my life with my first pregnancy. I missed nearly a week of work because I literally could not leave the bathroom. I tried every trick in the book before complaining to my doc at the 8 week appt. This time I asked for it right away when I called to make my first appointment. Just make sure not to miss a dose! MS will come back with a vengeance!
The thing that's helped the past few days is eating right before bed, and waking up early to have some food and go back to bed for a couple hours before starting the day. The one day I slept in without doing this I spent most of the beginning of my day hugging the toilet
Why do some posts say "answered" under them like this one?
@JAGinMI I think instead of starting a "discussion" they posted it as a question...when you click the arrow next to new discussion it gives you the option of poll/question too

Green peppermints and root beer are the ONLY thing that helped me last time, I haven't been hit very hard with MS yet but I didn't get it until 7 weeks last time so I'm sure it's coming. I'm taking a prenatal with B12 and ginger and I've heard that helps with it too.
My friend told me 25 mg b6 3x a day and half a unisom. Ordered the duo on Amazon cause I couldn't find that b6 dose in stores. Haven't tried it yet but been trying to choke down the ginger but it's hard and spicy!

SITB!
Not sure if you've heard of them but Chimes ginger chewy candies are delicious and much easier to get down than actual crystallized ginger. Not sure how well they work but it might be worth a try!
Unfortunately, I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum with my first pregnancy that resulted in a total loss of 25 lbs in my first two trimesters. Literally the only things that prevented me from becoming deathly ill or even losing my baby was zofran and phenergan. However, I didn't get on zofran until I'd lost 15 lbs and I was no longer able to keep water down. I was throwing up roughly 10-15 times a day.
Preggie pops, Coca Cola, and pizza were literally the only things that kept me going (plus zofran). Good luck mama I hope it passes soon for you!!!
Hi ladies! I found out sour patch kids helped with my nausea, and I bought some Preggie Pops as well in the sour flavors and they have been a LIFESAVER! i don't necessarily crave sour stuff, but sour candies have helped a TON with my morning sickness.

Also, I have to eat before I get hungry or else I get nauseous. I started planning snacks every 2 hours.

I also keep saltines and Lemon Heads in my purse, and drink a lot of lemon water.
