How far along are you? 7 weeks!

How big is baby? ~.5 inch, size of a blueberry

Upcoming appointments this week? first appointment August 3rd.  Seems so far!

Any new symptoms or changes?  I'm not nearly as bloated which is AWESOME

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm thinking about going shopping for a few maternity clothes today.  I still fit in my normal clothes, especially now that I'm not as bloated, but I wanna be prepared! Im a little nervous to jump the gun before an ultrasound, though.  What do you all think?
GTKY: What's one family tradition you loved as a kid?  Leaving cookies for Santa.  I can't wait to do that with my kids

How far along are you? 7 weeks, 0 days!

How big is baby? According to Ovia, it is about the size of a Brookesia Micra Chameleon!

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, first appointment is July 29 and I can't wait!

Any new symptoms or changes? Actually my symptoms have gotten a lot better lately minus some more intense nausea in the mornings. No morning sickness though, so I'm thankful for that.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm going to be graduating in December and looking for a full time professional job in the STEM field. Anyone have some suggestions for what to do/say about the obvious baby bump I'll have? It would be awesome to find a work from home position, but I doubt that will be possible straight out of college
GTKY: What's one family tradition you loved as a kid? Making fudge for Christmas! It got pretty intense some years, but it isn't Xmas without fudge! Can't wait until kiddo is old enough to start helping, even if it is just buttering the tray or measuring the marshmallows.

@cupcakeboyd If they ask about the bump, it wouldwould aways be funny to say "what baby? I'm not pregnant. Are you calling me fat?" To make them feel awkward.. but... don't lie. Lying to employers is bad!

Upcoming appointments this week? Ahhhh my first ultrasound is on Thursday the 21st and I'm so excited! I think about seeing my little guy for the very first time just about every other second and I'm so hopeful that everything will be well with him!

Any new symptoms or changes? No real changes yet. Just sleepiness, sore boobs, and feeling bloated!

Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm home visiting family this week and having the hardest time turning down all the yummy food! NOT helping my bloated tummy!

GTKY: What's one family tradition you loved as a kid? I loved taking walks at night to get ice cream in the summer with my parents and sisters. I may have reinstated this tradition already with my husband and our dog!

@Sugargirl1019 I did consider playing dumb before telling the truth. I'm just so worried about how it'll affect everything. Since I graduate in December, I'd only get to work for two months before having to take off for maternity leave! If I can get a good enough salary, my husband would be ecstatic to stay home, but since he isn't the one carrying/delivering the baby, I'd still have to take at least some time off for maternity leave early on in the employment!

Any new symptoms or changes? Not really, a little queasy and tired.

GTKY: What's one family tradition you loved as a kid? My big fat Italian Christmas Eve! All 30 of us squeezed around the table, Pop saying the prayers and my cousins letting me sip their wine in the laundry room (before I was old enough) lol

I did that with my first! A woman at work congratulated me Bc she heard I was preggo before I went public (idk how?) and I told her I had no idea what she was talking about and that it must be time to get back to weight watchers!!!! I can't wait to start school in September,she'll be the first I tell after admin!

Upcoming appointments this week? Nothing this week besides a routine dermatologist appointment. Ugh!! Next ultrasound is July 28. 

Any new symptoms or changes? No change - sore boobs and constipation.

GTKY: What's one family tradition you loved as a kid? I love Christmas Eve with my cousins. Now we get together with my cousins and our kids.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I am in a wedding in October and I had to order the dress. I'm a little bummed that a random lady at David's Bridal knows I'm pregnant before my parents and in-laws. The plan was to tell our parents in a few weeks when we would all be together and could do it in person, but now I'm considering sharing right after my appointment this week. 

GTKY: What's one family tradition you loved as a kid? I loved everything about our Christmas Eve/Christmas Day celebrations, but the thing that I remember most was when we were little my grandma used to get a cake that said 'Happy birthday Jesus' that we would have after church and before we opened presents.

Rants/Raves/Questions? spotting brown discharge is driving me crazy along with the crampy like feelings it has me scared to death be cause i had an ectopic in 2009
GTKY: What's one family tradition you loved as a kid?  My dad would come and get my siblings and i sat  when our mother had us and take us out to eat to mcdonalds even though he and our mother werent together he wanted to make sure he spent time with us outside of getting us on the weekends and summer.

Upcoming appointments this week? Still haven't scheduled...

Any new symptoms or changes? Popped my first Tums since my last pregnancy, crazy bloating at times, peeing once overnight, and sore boobs/nips all happened this last week.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I had put on like 5 lbs before getting pregnant so some days I can't tell if I'm really bloated or just really feeling my chub. Ugh, this is the hard part. Once the belly gets bigger I know I won't mind the little bit of extra chub.

GTKY: What's one family tradition you loved as a kid? My family wasn't so great at traditions so that's a hard one for me! My parents didn't buy me much throughout the year but in Christmas they went absolutely bonkers so that was fun!
