VBAC and preeclampsia

What happens to your vbac when you develope pre-e?

Re: VBAC and preeclampsia

  • I guess it would depend on how your provider feels on induction and how severe the pre-e is...
Hopefully you aren't dealing with this but it would be a good thing to ask your doctor about.

  • @MrsN092714 Thank fully not a problem I have. My BP rose slightly at the end of my last pregnancy. I am just gathering as much info as possible so that I am armed with a bit of knowledge of my own and can make educated decisions.

  • I had high blood pressure with my first and a c sections due to that and breech position.  With my second they put me on baby aspirin and I never had BP issues again.  Not sure if it was the spirit or my doctor said that sometimes it's just a first pregnancy thing.  I was able to have a natural vbac with my second child.
