Essential oil question- thieves

Essential oil question- my mom watched the kids today while I went to the Dr, they were there for about 2.5 hours. When I got back I noticed she had her diffuser on, I asked what was in it and she said thieves. Quick googling has now terrified me because thieves apparently contains several oils that aren't safe for babies..... Should I be worried?

When diffused it's fine. We use thieves household cleaners instead because it has no toxins. Just do not apply thieves to baby's skin or orally. Diffusing is fine.

Thank you! I was panicking! I know nothing about Essential oils

I had to ask my sister. Lol. She's a rep and got me onto diffusing at night.

Oils are fine as long as they don't touch their skin.  You can even use aromatherapy for your LO, just don't make the scent too strong, might overwhelm them.

I would be careful using a blend because you don't know what baby might have a reaction to. Look up Robert Tisserand's (he is a certifird aroma therapist not a rep for a company) age list if you want to know more about which ones might cause reactions in babies. There are several that aren't considered safe for kids under 6 years old.

Thieves actually isn't safe to use until kids are between 8 and 10 years old.  MLM's will tell you one thing, like ingesting oils is safe, but not all their info is actually correct or safe.  I seriously suggest looking into Robert Tisserand and also look at the facebook page "https://www.facebook.com/groups/UsingEOsSafely/"  using essential oils safely.  I am amazed at how much I heard from my EO rep and their company is so unsafe- like using peppermint on babies.
