Rants/Raves/Questions? Had such a hard time sleeping last night. The leg cramps were out of control, felt so restless to the point i almost cried. SO wasn't too happy either since all my tossing and turning kept him up as well. I don't feel bad though, he deserves to be just as miserable as me since he swears pregnancy is a piece of cake lol

Rants/Raves/Questions? Did anyone get the results of their glucose test right away? I'm so nervous about it- I just want to know ASAP!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversion: Nothing new- just some RLP and hip pain.
GTKY: How did you meet your S/O? Technically, we met in Walmart our senior year of high school. Classy, I know. His girlfriend and my boyfriend at the time knew each other. We ran into them one night in Walmart and they introduced us to each other. Fast forward a few months and we officially met our freshman year of college. We had both broken up with our former S/Os and I drove a brand new, manual transmission Ford Mustang. He asked around the dorm to find out whose car it was so he could drive it, and the rest is history!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversion: So now I'm getting leg cramps during the day as well! Got a bad one yesterday at work, so I kept having to walk around. I got one in the car a few weeks ago & it hurt so bad!

Match.com for me, believe it or not! I had just turned 30 and my friends made me sign up. I met a lot of creepies the first couple months, then got really interested in this hot British guy. My DH started writing me during the same time and I was kind of like ehhh. The British guy ended up dropping off the face of the planet so I agreed to meet my DH. The first date was okay, but the second date was awful! He was so quiet, which made it awkward. I was ready to call it quits. But my sister told me to give him one more chance and I'm so glad I did because the third date was amazing!! We've been together for 7 years and will celebrate our 4-year anniversary next week. Love him so much!!

Upcoming appointments? I have an appointment tonight, including glucose test. I feel kind of weird about doing the glucose test at night, would have thought it would have to be first thing, but the nurse said I don't need to fast.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I had my biggest work event of the year yesterday and now I feel like I will never recover and will just be exhausted forever haha. Looking forward to the weekend!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I still hate food, but a little less haha. My right hip is killing me. I overdid it with work so now the shooting pains down my leg are real. Hoping lots of rest will help it a bit!
GTKY: How did you meet your S/O? We met in high school when I was a sophomore and he was a senior. I went to an all girls school but played softball for the local travel league. A girl on my team went to public school with him and she invited me to hang out with her friends one day and me and H hit it off. We were on and off in college and the years immediately after but always stayed close and eventually got back together for good. We got married on the 12th anniversary of our first date because I'm sappy like that haha.

my sophomore year in high school he briefly dated one of my best friends. I actually didnt like him one bit back then. Fast forward to senior year we stayed friends and decided to go one a few just for fun dates. After graduation we made it exclusive Married two years later. 5 years of being married we are on kid number 3.
I got my results within 5 minutes of getting my blood drawn. I would think you would definitely get it before leaving the appointment!

I've been going to the chiro regularly for my sciatica and (not to jinx myself) but yesterday and today have been much better. She realigned my pelvis and that seemed to do the trick. I went today and have an appt next week too but I'm so happy I can finally walk.

I haven't had the greatest energy the last week. It's been brutal. Other than that I can't complain. I did my glucose test Friday morning and I am waiting for the results. I didn't have it with my first two kids but there is a first for everything I guess.

I have been on a French fry kick! Also candy has been pretty awesome lately too!

Pretty text book symptoms, cravings- ALL THE SWEETS, Aversions- I can no longer stomach packaged taco seasoning. So no shortcuts for me while seasoning my meat.

I was friends with his brother, and we all worked at the same place, just in different departments. I thought he was the most gorgeous man I had ever laid eyes on. Apparently we both had crushes on each other, but Jimmy (his brother) failed to mention that to either of us! Fast Forward 4 years, after extensive mutual liking on the ol' FB, we ended up hanging out one night, and have been together ever since
What size is baby? Grapefruit and baby is looking to be a little over 1lb according to our ultrasound today

Rants/Raves/Questions? Feeling good about having this baby at 37 weeks- hopefully not any sooner than that. Nervous about my condition and all the possibilities it entails.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Constantly checking myself for bleeding and oh the heartburn/acid reflux- it is fierce. I am not really craving anything or very hungry which I think is due to the reflux.

My brother used to play street hockey with him in middle school and I thought he was super cute fast forward to highschool where I became friends with his sister and thought he had the greatest hair then fast forward once more to college where we ran into each other through mutual friends and had a whirlwind romance. We have been together 10y married for 5y and can honestly say have been through through hell and back but am greatful for all the experience and wisdom I have gained that I will pass on to my daughter one day as she looks for a partner.

we met on eharmony. I didn't think the whole online dating thing would work, I met a lot of trolls that way. I was skeptical when I met DH, but turns out it was the best decision I ever made. Our first date was 8 years ago today and we've been married for 5 years.

Still freaking out about getting daycare lined up, but just trying to do all I can and pray it all works out. I was in major nesting mode this weekend and organizing like crazy! Now all that's left is the garage, yikes. We decided on a final layout for nursery furniture. And yesterday we got some awesome baby stuff on prime day! Got a pack n'play with bassinet that we're going to use for sleep initially, a lillebaby complete all seasons carrier, and got our baby monitor. Someone actually already bought the monitor off our registry but we're just going to return it (we're saving money and it's a better version!).
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
It seems like I have these symptoms that pop up for a day and then go away. This weekend I had plantar fasciitis, but it only lasted a day. My back will hurt really bad one day and then go away. Weird.

Mutual friends. This is suuuuuper nerdy but... before that last Harry Potter movie came out, a group of my friends had weekly Harry Potter watch parties for all the movies. And that's how DH and I met!

Upcoming appointments?
I have an appointment on Tuesday, and I just went for my glucose test today. Unfortunately I failed the 1 hour test today. The test came back saying that my value was 158 mg (normal is 70-134mg). I am dreading taking the three hour test because this one hour test made me so sick. I took the test at 1pm today and I haven't been able to get up out of bed because I feel so crappy.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Has anyone failed the first test but passed the three hour test? If so what did you get for the first test? I'm really worried about getting a 158, hopefully I pass the three hour test but if not it's not the end of the world. At least I'll be advised on what I need to do to keep my baby happy and healthy.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Im still getting sick every morning if I wake up with an empty stomach. If I'm constantly snacking and keeping something in my tummy I feel fine. It's just those times when I'm hungry that I'm getting super sick.
GTKY: How did you meet your S/O?
The DH & I met four years ago through mutual friends. He initially asked me to be his girlfriend like 4 times before I finally caved in and said yes haha.
And I'm with you on the nausea/vomiting if I let myself get too hungry. It's hardest in the mornings and around dinner time. I've found that taking 2 tums right before bed helps minimize some of the stomach acid when I wake up in the AM, which is mostly what I'm puking.
The nausea on an empty stomach thing is horrendous. I am dreading the three hour fasting test. I don't know how I'm going to go that long without eating and without throwing up because of not eating
I just have this feeling that I do indeed have GD because of how I reacted to the glucose drink and because of how I have to eat several small snacks throughout the day in order to not get sick. I'll post on here when I find out my results.

Hello ladies! Just thought I'd share my numbers with you all and let you know that I passed! The whole experience of the three hour test wasn't pleasant at all, but it was not as bad as I was expecting. The fruit punch flavored 100g was so disgusting! It tasted like cough syrup. And being so hungry for so long was not fun at all. But it's over & all in all it wasn't too terrible. I even met some sweet ladies who were also due in October and who were taking the same three hour glucose test as I was.
@ibabyloveb87 I'll be sending you my positive thoughts for your test on Friday. It honestly wasn't that bad and the great part is that once it's over it's over
@AllyTheKid thank you for the hopefull comment, I definitely kept the hope alive & it worked out in my benefit. No GD for me
@scostel2 I am not currently taking anything but I have heard of Zofran. I'll have to give it a try thanks for the tip!
