How are you feeling? Tired. Whiny. Hahah. I get worn down a lot faster these days. My belly is getting heavier and I've definitely started to misjudge my size when trying to squeeze through spaces.
Upcoming appointments? Rescheduled apt from last week to tomorrow
Rants/Raves/Questions: Headacheeeeee. Feels sinus related. Hating it.
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Washing the dishes. Ugh. But thankfully most of the time my niece (who lives next door) washes them. She's so sweet and loves to help out.
27 weeks and I'm saying woohoo to 3rd trimester too!
What size is baby?
Lettuce, Camping lantern, some kind of small fox!
How are you feeling?
Overall, pretty good. Some carpal tunnel had developed in my right hand at one spot but it's more annoying than anything. Also feeling like I'm starting to waddle and the mood swings can leave anytime now.
Upcoming appointments?
Wednesday. The dreaded Glucose. And TDAP. Can we cram all the fun into one day???
Rants/Raves/Questions:
Just super anxious about the GTT. Also super excited to be in the home stretch! Even though I have enjoyed being pregnant so far, I can't wait to have my baby boy in my arms!
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Vacuuming. So I don't. DH does it if it's needed in between house cleanings.
Me:33 DH: 34 Married: May 2011 TTC #1: May 2015 DS: 10/20/2016 TTC #2: June 2019 #2 EDD: 2/20/2020
What size is baby? slow loris... whatever that is (I hope they show one in the Ovia video this week lol)
How are you feeling? feeling large and in charge.... belly is feeling bigger these days and I'm noticing it feels tight frequently... like it's just stretched too much.
Upcoming appointments? Glucose scheduled in a few weeks but none before then.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I think it's dumb that I don't get any more US visits. My last was at 18 weeks and if everything goes okay until the end, that'll be the last time I see Ella before she's born. I don't like it one bit... humf
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Laundry... actually, the putting away of the laundry. I hate it.
How are you feeling? Besides lack of LOTS of sleep this weekend, feeling pretty good!
Upcoming appointments? Not till the 23rd
Rants/Raves/Questions: See my post in Monday Bitch Fest. It was one hell of a weekend!!
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Cleaning the bathroom and laundry
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
What size is baby? lettuce but if you watch the bump video it says rutabaga?
How are you feeling? Overall pretty good - minus a stupid sunburn I got yesterday while score keeping hubby's softball game. The virgin skin on my thighs very rarely see the light of day, yet my mom bought me maternity shorts so I was wearing them yesterday. Ya it actually hurts to walk! Serves me right.
Upcoming appointments? I had my OB appointment today - found out my sugar from my GD test came back good, but my iron level is a little low so she gave me a prescription for iron. It probably doesn't help I haven't been taking my prenatal vitamins, so I gotta make sure I start that up again. After this I'm bi-weekly appointments.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I hate how doctors have a way of making you worry. She told me there is definite growth and he seems to be right on track, but then confirms I have my growth US in a few weeks (which I do - August 3) but why confirm if you feel there is growth? Maybe not as much as you'd like?!? GAH!
GTKY: What is your least favourite chore to do? Dishes! Followed closely with the litter box. Hubby and I don't have a dishwasher and I feel like I just finish the dishes and the sink is full again. I went from 3 litter boxes to 1, so it forces me to clean it out daily which means it doesn't have a chance to get as bad as it did before - more manageable but still would rather not do anything.
I have a growth scan at 30, 34 and 38 weeks because of my 2 vessel umbilical cord (instead of 3). So far everything is being a very normal pregnancy, even with the 2 vessel, but my doctor likes to be anal which I have absolutely no problems with. My mom is going to come to my 30 week ultrasound so she can see him
How far along? 26 weeks almost in the 3rd trimester
What size is baby? Kale which makes zero sense to me
How are you feeling? Like crap on a cracker
Upcoming appointments? 28 weeks
Rants/Raves/Questions: well I had some relief from pressure and pain when baby flipped over then he or she decided to flip back and all the pain came flooding back.
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Dishes eczema plus dishes equals nasty red bleeding hands

my friend had that too and her LO was perfect also. Sounds like your situation is mimiking hers Which is a good thing!

They said he might be a little small, which my vag is totally okay with as long as he's healthy, and so far any other possible complications from 2 vessels have come back negative so it will literally just be his birth size.
How far along? 28 weeks today! Hello third trimester!
What size is baby? Little man is the size of an eggplant!
How are you feeling? Tired from working the summer camp but I love working there!
Upcoming appointments? July 27th for an OB appt (every 2 weeks now and then every week at 36 weeks!) and August 2nd for a growth ultrasound (every 4 weeks because of the gestational diabetes and my kidney disease)
Rants/Raves/Questions: None that I can think of now
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Bathroom cleaning (mainly the toilet!) Seiously, why is aim so hard for men?!
@bnsmith85 I have scans every 4 weeks too! For my GD which makes big babies and my kidney disease which makes small babies so I'm just hoping it evens out lol
How are you feeling? Still super tired and currently have an awful headache
Upcoming appointments? July 25 for a growth scan (every 4 weeks because of complications last pregnancy) and July 26 for reg app
Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm currently doing the glucose test with a monitor instead of the drink (since I threw it up 30 seconds after drinking), my rant is that no one told me what is considered 'normal' and when I look it up online nothing seems to agree. I'm not trying to 'cheat' the system but I hate waiting on test results so I'd feel better knowing if my numbers are in an acceptable range
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Dishes. Hands down. I have always had a dishwasher, my family since it was so large actually had 2, so I only ever had to really do pots and pans but I'm on my 8th year in an apartment with no dishwasher and it is the bane of my existence. Only 2 months until we are in our new house with a brand new dishwasher!!
Upcoming appointments? In a couple weeks for my glucose tolerance test
Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm just worn out from my toddler. I would love to have her energy! Or be able to drink all the caffeine. I worry how I'm going to be able to keep up with her and a newborn. We'll figure it out though. We'll have to.
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Cleaning up after my dog. He's 12 and has congestive heart failure. We've had to start him on a diuretic so he has to pee all the time. He's good about going on the potty pads if I can't get him out in time, but it's still something I would rather leave for H to do. I'm not sure why, because it's not hard to do, but this would be the chore I like least.
@LauraPCOS heyyyyy just wanted to say that I'm doing growth scans too. Mine is because the umbilical cord implanted on the edge of the placenta, not in the middle. They say there's slim chance of any complications, but in theory it's more prone to get affected by impact and thus reduce nutrition to baby (resulting in low birth weight). So far he's been measuring a week ahead at each U/S but they still want us going every 4 weeks. I confirmed with the nurse that everything looks good so far but I assume the theory is that if something were to happen and baby stopped getting the right amount of nutrients they would want to know! So they do the ultrasounds to keep monitoring. All that to say, try not to overthink what the dr was saying, and yay for big healthy babies so far!
How are you feeling? Better today, but I was really nauseated this weekend and vomited twice in one day. I was really hoping I wouldn't be one of these pregnant ladies that has all day sickness the whole pregnancy, but that's what I have. Otherwise I have been good.
Upcoming appointments? Next Monday, Anatomy scan. The monday after my first MFM appointment for GD.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I feel like I have been ranting about this forever either here or in the GD check in thread. I called my OB's office last week and asked for a referral to a MFM, since they have not been helpful and have not told me much of anything regarding the diagnosis. I still haven't seen my OB since the diagnosis and his staff saw no reason for me to see him before my next appointment, which was 4 weeks out. Long story short when I asked for the referral the nurse was rude to me and told me she could ask when he'd return on Monday, if I still wanted it. Today she called back and my OB approved the referral and they scheduled an appointment. Good grief. I am going to tell my OB about my interactions with his staff at my next appointment.
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Dishes, especially the ones I have to do by hand.

How are you feeling? Hot and tired. But I still think I've had it pretty easy. Im starting to have issues with feet swelling.
Upcoming appointments? Two weeks from tomorrow.
Rants/Raves/Questions: im so over the baby shower drama.
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? Right now it's the bathroom. It's too much bending and trying to squeeze into tight spaces for a pregnant lady.
@LGW2015 at my last US which was my second anatomy (first one he wouldn't let them measure his spine) I was measuring about 4 days ahead. I forgot about that until you mentioned yours. I'm looking forward to my scan, especially since my mom is going to come with me (her first ultrasound since she was pregnant with me 32 years ago....we weren't involved in my SIL's pregnancy). She'll get to "meet" my little guy early
What size is baby? Kale or a Double Gulp from 7 Eleven....
How are you feeling? Pretty good! Some swelling ankles and fingers, trying to elevate and drink more water.
Upcoming appointments? Growth scan on 7/19. Hoping my placenta, which was "low-lying" at 20 weeks has decided to get with the times and rise up.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I WANT WINE!!(and not like a half glass or something...like a bottle.)
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? I HATE washing the kitchen floor and scrubbing the tub. I try to get the hubs to always scrub the tub and I do the rest...
My way of cleaning the tub is spraying it down with bathroom cleaner that is suppose to get rid of the scum, then turning the shower head on and washing it off....lol does that not count as clean?
My crotch is killing me. This girl needs to get of my pelvis (she is hanging low and transverse still). I have no real cravings. I have an appointment next week which should be my last monthly, how did that happen already?
My least favorite chore is laundry. I hate sorting and putting it away.
What size is baby? Lettuce (I think. Weeks are starting to run together)
How are you feeling? I started drinking grapefruit juice twice a day, and it's helped with bloating and made me feel tons better. I'm still really tired but overall not bad.
Upcoming appointments?
28 week checkup and GD test next Tuesday
Rants/Raves/Questions:
I'm just excited that in 10/11 weeks I'll be considered full term. Ill probably be overdue like with my first but the possibility of having a full term baby in such a short time period is exciting.
GTKY: What is your least favorite chore to do? I'm not remotely domestic so I hate it all. My least favorite would have to be scrubbing dirty dishes. I hate dealing with anything the dishwasher isn't capable of taking care of
@Mintz1982 Well poop =/ at least now that you KNOW you can get on the right track to feeling better, right?
I really hope so I've been feeling really exhausted all the time I randomly fall asleep even if I got a good night's sleep and a nap. Some foods which are bad diabetes foods I can't even keep down IE oatmeal. I have good days and bad right now.
