Ritz crackers with cheese- mostly extra sharp cheddar and extra sharp white cheddar. A small handful of cheese curds seems to help in a pinch until I kind find something more sustaining. Salt and vinegar chips are good. Real lemonade is the easiest thing for me to drink. For actual water, it's easiest to suck on the little ice squares (like from Sonic) than it is to drink water.
@jstringfellow19 pic or it didn't happen! (JK) But enjoy a bowl for me!
If I can figure out how to post a picture on mobile I will! I'm still at work for 2 more hours though. Can't wait for the Cap'n Crunch. I need some Now n Laters too.
I have violently taken against ice cream. I'm pretty upset about that.
ME TOO. WHO AM I. Currently trying to choke down a ridiculously healthy roast bowl with steak, broccoli, lentis, rice and avocado. Learned about a minute ago, the hard way, that I no longer like broccoli anymore. Luckily nobody saw me "not like it" into the trash can. I need to get my calories up, so I've been pounding Horizon Organic Vitamin D Whole Milk with DHA. Also all the peanut butter (I've read weird stuff about pb, but doctor says it's absolutely fine).
ETA Oh, question for repeat mamas: How long can I expect these aversions to last? Will I hate broccoli forever? Is this just a first trimester thing? I have a friend who, five years after having her last kid, can't even stand to hear the word "yogurt." This does not bode well!

@vastra - my biggest aversion last pregnancy was when DH would make microwave-able chicken pot pies and I will say just typing that now makes me want to gag. I don't buy them anymore so I don't have to smell them. But that is the only thing from my first pregnancy that carried over.
All I want is a freaking cheesy bread from dominos. But I'm holding out because I know it will make me feel sick after. But OMG I'm drooling thinking about it!
I'm still eating all the carbs and drinking gatorade. I'm not thrilled about all the food coloring, but juice has turned on me, and water makes me gag.
@Vastra some of my aversions stuck but more so things I used to hate (pepperoni pizza, green peppers, this pregnancy it's mushrooms and onions) I now love.

Oh and I hated avacado and guac until I got pregnant last time. Then I craved it. I still love it and so does my daughter. I jokingly thank her for making me realize how amazing guac is. No aversions stuck but I drank a lot of orange Gatorade since I was always so sick and I really can't stand the idea of drinking it now.

Me too! I hated avocados before having DS and then I tried guacamole while pregnant with him. I've never looked back!
Stop! Last night I was watching Valerie Bertinell's cooking show and she made the most amazingly delicious blackened catfish tacos with creamy coleslaw and green chili queso.

Get in mah mouf!!
This place by my office does these amazing tacos to order and they have an insane hot sauce bar that includes a peach onion hot sauce that's amazing. But I had Tacos yesterday, so Tacos today would be nuts...right? But maybe Tacos tomorrow would be ok?

You can't eat taco's too often as far as I'm concerned. Taco time is any time.

So jealous. Honestly depending on how much dinner I eat tonight (chicken fajitas but they don't sound very good right now) I may order it as a late night snack.

See, I need this to happen with cooked eggs! I have never in my life liked the taste of egg, and I know how awesome they would be for me right now. I might just try a bite of DH's omelette or something, in the presence of a large trash receptacle, and see how it goes.

Lately, all I want is pizza and greek yogurt. Because that's normal. I've also been craving ground beef (but not a burger), so I need to make that happen soon. It's all so strange.

Forever?
My first pregnancy was 13 years ago. I developed an aversion to bananas - I DO NOT LIKE the way they taste the second time. It was several years before I ate bananas. Now I'm pregnant again and haven't touched a banana. Even the thought is repugnant.
I find myself craving things that don't exist. I'm having a hard time with chicken right now, but the other night at dinner, I was like "you know what would be awesome, is chicken but instead of meat it's one of those orange jelly candies in the shape of a chicken, with ranch dressing on top."

Ground beef tacos would be good....
Had some for dinner last night and I are so much I couldn't walk. I really wanted to throw up afterwards. Love love love tacos.
Prior to my first pregnancy, I hated cilantro. Then during my pregnancy it was my biggest craving. Now, 6 years later, I still can't get enough! In fact, I'm having heaps of it tonight with buffalo chicken quinoa casserole! But right now the casserole is nauseating me, so maybe just the cilantro.
I used to eat a salad every day for lunch. Now I can't stand the idea of putting cold lettuce I my mouth. I'm loving sandwiches and chips and donuts. Sautéed spinach with lentils I can get down for nutrition but it's not fun. Yay for poached eggs on toast with smashed avocado instead of butter
PB&J sandwiches and cucumbers with ranch!!! That's what I just had for dinner. And lunch the other day. And probably lunch tomorrow. I also am having trouble with meat.
The saddest thing is that popcorn has been my favorite food for the longest time. Right now the thought of it makes my stomach turn. I hope this doesn't last forever!!!
Cheese quesadilla. Aka, shredded cheese in a tortilla folded in half and microwaved for 30 seconds. Real handy in getting food down the hatch when the "all food" aversion clouds part for two minutes. Also helpful for prepping baby for the college diet.
Today it was sweet potato fries with ranch, and chocolate chip waffles. Yesterday it was falafel, so it changes quite frequently. Although the end all be all in settling my stomach has been clementines and lots of them!

Pizza is still my #1. I ate a pizza last night with ham, bacon, pepperoni, meatballs, and spicy sausage #allthemeats. It is one of the remaining things I have not yet thrown up.
I was loving tacos, until they uhm... came back up on me. *cough, cough*
Now all I want to eat is fried pickles with ranch. And cajun seasoning. Also, for the record, why are French fries SO delicious? They are salty and starchy, and they do not make me nauseous.
But for some reason, I cannot stand the taste of plain water.
and most of these food aversions went away after tri 1, and I could eat anything. I still had cravings, but if you made me something I wasn't craving I could still eat it and enjoy it. I couldn't eat "fake" sugars-some processed foods tasted like crso with my sense of smell and taste on overdrive. But anything from around the house was fine. I could finally go into my kitchen without wanting to puke so I could cook and clean again!
the only thing I am never going to eat again is saltines. I threw up one too many.
@kjd291 ME TOO!!!! The only delivery we have is Pizza. Last Friday I wanted Chinese so bad and my DH was away for work so I had no one to go get takeout for me. I tried to get my brother to go, but I haven't really told any friends or family so I couldn't use being pregnant as an excuse. I drove my self all the way into town and picked it up to only not be 100% satisfied with my choices.
I'm loving fruits and fruit smoothies, apples, bananas, peaches. I will tolerate most everything else, but I can't really deal with heavier meats. I went to a cookout this weekend- I ate all the side items and my husband ate all the meats, I just couldn't deal. Also, the only non-alcoholic, non caffeinated drink at the party turned out to be Capri Sun. I felt like a third grader all over again. I also LOVE spicy foods, but I'm not tolerating spicy as well right now. Boo.
Re: What my pregnant self is eating, 7/11
Enjoying everything I will probably have to forgoe later on when GD will likely kick in...
