Any tips on how to check CM when I can't reach my cervix? Every time I get a pelvic exam, my doctors have literally said, "Whoa! Where's your cervix?" or "It's waaaaay back there!" or "You definitely don't have any prolapse problems!" One time I even warned a doc that she was going to need the extra long speculum. She brushed me off and tried the small one anyway. She was like, "You were right!" and had to switch to the extra long one. Duh. I know I'm right. smh. My point is that I literally can't reach my cervix. This makes it very hard for me to check my CM. I have PCOS, so I very rarely O, but when I do, I always see lots of EWCM when I wipe. I want to be able to check my CM and know it's getting close to EWCM as soon as it happens instead of waiting for it to "come down". I feel like that will help with timing and getting on top of things, but I seriously can't reach it. Not even with a fingertip. I couldn't find a past thread on this. Any tips?

Re: I Can't Reach My Cervix!
@meilay lol! I understand your reasoning, and I understand why that makes you feel awkward lol! Thanks for the advice ❤️❤️
@antoto I got TCOYF yesterday, and the author really emphasized the importance of tracking CM for good timing. I started to panic thinking that not being able to check my cervix to detect CM early may throw off my timing. I hope you're right! Thanks!

But, that being said - you can still check your CM without actually touching your cervix. The only time you actually need to touch your cervix is if you're checking your cervical position to see if it's high, low, open, closed, etc. CM can be found a little lower in your vagina, so, you're good.
