Unpopular opinion day!

I don't like the beach.  Gross things touch you in the water and sand ends up everywhere it shouldn't be.    Pools 4 life.

@jmn1985 I hate lakes but love beaches! I call the lake a "fish toilet". Grosses me out so bad.

That's probably an unpopular opinion but I have another: I think Channing Tatum is borderline unattractive. Obviously he has a great body, but I think his face is not cute. How's that for unpopular??

I'm not at all creeped out by placenta encapsulation.  I'll be honest, my first pregnancy - there was no way in hell I was even considering it and it made me a little nauseous to think about.

This go around - I'm already signed up.  A less likely occurrence for baby blues, ppd + more energy and a faster healing time?  Yes, please.  I would probably ride a magical unicorn if there were enough raving reviews for lessening my likelihood of going through ppd again.  No shame in my game.

I don't understand the appeal of 50 Shades of Gray. The books were boring and crammed with way too many soap opera plot lines, and the movie was even worse.

My UO- I can't get into game of thrones...I tried, so many times, but I have rewatched the first episode and still can't go back for more...do I keep going? or give up LOL

Maybe this is unpopular but I am blown away by how tame and orderly this bmb is. Are there no drive-bys? No Crazy Mc Crazerpants to flame? Do we still flame on TB? It's like a whole new world since I was here last and I am trying to adjust. I need to class up my act.

This!!! Horribly written, like I think my dog could have done a better job! Plus the movie films in my city which is just annoying.

The crazies are definitely just waiting. All we've had so far was the Barging in with a Pee Stick idiocy, and although I'm glad TB gods shut that down fast and removed the photos, I'm still kinda bummed I didn't get to flame it first.

Not sure if this is an "opinion" per se, but I don't wear tennis shoes. Even in winter I'm wearing sandals/other backless shoes (unless it's snowing, in which case I might wear my boots--key word: might).

I hate wearing socks- I've been even known to not wear socks with boots sometimes. I think thats why I love uggs so much because they are warm and I don't have to wear socks.

I don't care for girls night where we giggle and talk about boys. I'd rather be with the boys playing video games.

I am also wondering where the crazies are!!

I am weird and love socks. I will wear socks with sandals outside when staying in my yard. I hate having cold feet!! Can't go to bed without socks either.

My UO is that I am not a fan of gender reveal parties. Everyone I know who has done one is also the type who is always "humble bragging" so maybe that's why I dislike. Either way I just can't get on board.

@MrsNap_515 My heart breaks a little inside every time I hear someone say that they don't like GoT..... I can't even take that seriously unless you have at MINIMUM watched the first season all the way through! Yes it is a bit much at first but I would venture to say that is the best tv show I have ever watched. Alright I'll get off my GoT soap box now lol, I'm obsessed!

@AverageAsh Agreed about this board! I've been lurking it while in my TWW and literally everyone is so nice and there have not seemed to be any crazies! Which is great, but there's gotta be a little somethin somethin coming up right?!

@Luckycharm1068 I hear you! My best friend and DH want us to do one and I'm like ehhhh please don't make me! They don't get the stigma that goes a long with them, i.e. being gift grabby, pretending that people care about your future babies genitalia, etc. But both of them think they are awesome, I'm doomed lol.

ETA: My own unpopular opinion...

It's never too early or too late! My last BMB had someone lie about a new pregnancy/miscarriage after the babies were born.

I'm with you on this one, @Schumerator! My DH claims he hates GoT, but refuses to watch any of it. I don't understand how one can hate GoT period, much less hating it without even giving it a chance! Go back and try again, @MrsNap_515!

@MrsNap_515 To be fair, the very first episode of GoT is reportedly the worst. I think it was rushed in the editing process - and now that I've read the first book - found it to be dragging in a lot of parts. It gets better though, I promise you. I agree with @schumerator and @Scarlett830 to give it a minimum of one season. I liken the show to a slow burn - it's worth it to be there for it to (sometimes literally) go up in flames!! But in a good way. You'll see if you stick it out.

It sounds like you're trying to dig it, so I give you props for that. I also recommend reading the books if you're into literacy. They're written extremely well and help to provide character and plot background, which would also help foster an interest in the TV show.

I don't watch GoT either but have to say, I had to watch the first episode of Downton Abbey 3 times before I got into it and then I was obsessed! So maybe it's the same?

Also @MK1013 you need to watch some Game of Thrones- its the best show out there and I am in such literal GoT withdrawal right now that I rewatched all of the previous 5 seasons since the Season 6 finale just aired. And I watch each episode twice after they air. I think I need rehab lol.

Yes, I am in MI!  I didn't say that I hate looking at lakes and being on a boat in lakes, I just cannot stand having my body submersed in one!  But, you are right, in MI this is still blasphemy and a major UO.

@Schumerator, @Scarlett830, & @dubcompanion  I'm definitely going to keep trying, because I love fantasy! I'm also an avid reader, so I was thinking of picking up the books, that it might help me move along with the show

@MrsNap_515 Woo! Definitely try the books if you're an avid reader AND since you love fantasy. I was already into the TV show by the time I picked up one of the books, but sometimes it helps to understand the lore prior to viewing.

I don't like the beach either. Give me a pool where the water is clear, I can see the bottom, and my feet don't sink.

My UO: I hate root beer floats. I love ice cream, I like root beer. But the two of them together? I'll pass.
