**Question**

When and how did you wean off of estrace and progesterone? My RE is in Prague so I am not consulting them anymore but I don't just want to go off of them if I need to have some sort of blood test first to make sure my levels are ok? Thoughts?

@susykat77 I was on both until 8 weeks. Every RE is different though

@susykat77 I was told to stop estrace early on at 6w5d after some bloodwork. I didn't do IVF, so I'm not sure how that would be different. I was also on crinone and was told to stop cold turkey at 13 weeks. That's what I did and, though I had some early 2nd Tri bleeding, I don't believe stopping either like that was an issue. You could always ask your OB if he/she would want to do a blood test or would do a blood test to make you feel better.

@susykat77 I went cold turkey off all my meds at 11.5 weeks. It was scary, but my doctor assured us that at this point the placenta is doing everything it needs to.

@susykat77 I went off my patches last week, and went down from 1.5ml to 1ml of PIO. After my BW today, I will go down to one Estrace pill a day, and .5ml of PIO a day and then Sunday is my last day of both. I'll be talking to my OB about when/if to quit the baby aspirin. I would definitely encourage you to ask your OB about checking your levels before you quit. You should be pretty close to being done since you are almost at 11 weeks, but having that reassurance will be good.

@susykat77 I went off estrace at 9w5d and it was after a blood draw and it was just quitting cold turkey. I stayed on progesterone pills for another week until I just ran out of them. Is this something you can ask your OB? When I went to my first OB appointment, he knew I went through IVF and asked me about my medications. He pretty much confirmed RE's plan to go off estrace and progesterone as the right one. Hopefully yours can provide you some guidance.

Thank you ladies! I am SO ready to be off those meds - although I am kind of afraid to as well. I am going to ask my OB's guidance on Monday and I know she will be more than willing to order any blood tests for me.

@susykat77 I'm so counting down the days now until I'm done getting shot in the butt. Lol. It will be nice to have the bruises and knots heal up.

So I have been searching for maternity pants in tall for work can't wear jeans and if we do wear jeans to work they need to be colored. Tried kohls, old navy, and motherhood. Could not find anything in tall/long since I'm 5'11" any ideas if there are other tall women I see this is going to be my one issue

@ultratomato I'm stumped. I could have sworn destination maternity (motherhood) had tall sizes, but that may have just been for the jeans. Target also has a maternity section. Maybe you can find some there? I have some time on my hands lately, so I'll do some searching and see if I can find anything.

I can totally relate @ultratomato, 5'11" myself and I've only been wearing dresses so far.

So, I will officially be a mom no later than July 18. I'm so excited and nervous wrapped into one! I'll be induced at 37 weeks, 2 days (first non-weekend day after I turn 37 weeks) due to gestational hypertension. Things are getting crazy real, and I can't believe there are only 11 days! I'm already dilated 2cm and 30% effaced. He just better hang in here through the weekend as my husband will be out of town for work until Sunday afternoon. It's very interesting having a date set! I'm feeling a little more relaxed about my whole situation now. I'm also the 6th person I know in the last month and a half who will be delivering 3 weeks earlier, which I find so strange!

How exciting,  @riveridgional!  Hope the LO behaves until then and waits for dh to be back! On the selfish side,  I'm sad I'll only be in your company for two puny weeks on the 3rd tri  board! I'm so happy for you though... It makes it all super real!

So during my 20 week anatomy scan this week I got so nauseous and almost vomited in the middle of it . Has this happened to anyone else ? I wonder if it was from laying on my back . Or if it was from anxiety ?

@mskeenan It may be from laying on your back. I think the tech doing my ultrasound asked me to tell her if I started feeling sick. I got a prenatal massage on my babymoon and, when I was on my back and propped with pillows, my masseuse asked me to let him know the same thing.

@riveridgional ok thank you for your response  . It makes sense I guess since we aren't supposed to be on our backs . I just thought it was strange how quickly I felt so sick ! Side lying for me !

Well after owning a boat for 4 years we said goodbye today because we need to save money for these two babies. It's bittersweet. I'm proud of my DH he truly is going to be a good dad!
