Did anyone else out there go through IVF? I'm sick and tired of taking these progesterone in oil shots, but at least now I know I'm doing them for a good reason!!!

I did IVF and did a FET that resulted in my BFP! Luckily, I convinced my RE to let me do the progesterone suppositories instead of the PIO. Good thing as I've read most ladies are on them until week 10 or so.

Not ivf here but i sort of understand being sick of meds. I have been doing estrogen suppositories for three weeks and I'm over  it. I probably have one or two more weeks of it according to my re. Even though it's not fun I feel like it's doing its job! (We did iui this cycle.)

Omg yes! We conceived via IVF and the PIO shots are insane! I also have to take Lovenox for possible clotting issues. They've made my blood thinner and now whenever the hubs injects the progesterone and pulls out the needle blood just starts running down my booty!

Just got my beta and BFP on Wednesday but my progesterone was low so re recommended the PIO. They're awful! I can't believe I may have to do them for another six weeks. Crazy. I was already on the gel suppositories since the transfer and now these too. I guess the gel wasn't enough...

Yes! DS was a fresh transfer in 2014 and this BFP is a FET. I don't remember the PIO being such a big thing the first time. It's 4 w 3D and I'm over it! But if it's best for the babe then so be it!

I used Synera patches (lidocaine patches) during my last FET, and literally could not feel the shots at all.  Way different than my 1st FET.

@AdamAndPatti I'm doing them now and they are a pain! But I use heating pad and a handheld massager after because the spots were really swelling up. I keep counting down the shots left because I will feel
so free after! I'm also doing 3x per day endometrim suppositories  and will be glad when they are over!!!!

I'm a surrogate and am giving myself PIO shots.  Bigger picture totally worth it,  but sometimes I throw a full fledged temper tantrum before I act like a grown up and just do it!

I'm an IVFer! But luckily for me I am just doing Crinone, no PIO. You PIO ladies are bad asses!!!!

IVF'er here!! What were your first betas? We have our first US next Thursday 7/21 and the wait is killing me! This is almost worse than the 2ww....

FET#2 - 6/21 BFP!!!!!!

@sarahpils22 congrats!! My first ultrasound is on the 21st as well after a FET! My first beta was 529 at 10dp5dt and 1703 at 13dp5dt.

@laura_lu_84 sounds like you may be on that twin train I will be happy with singleton or two as long as the baby is healthy!
