Okay so theoretically, if one was not "regular" and had thrown up milk of magnesia, Miralax, and prune juice... What other options would one have left?
You could try pear juice. It's just as effective as prune juice but tastes (IMO) better.
I'm only here to say how glad I am to know everyone's nipples are itching. I mean I'm not GLAD, you know what I mean, I just feel better knowing I'm not the only one trying to sneak nip scratches throughout the day in public places.
Really stupid FTM question - At 17 weeks, I still wake up on my stomach most days. I'm noticeably showing now, but not too big. I assume when I shouldn't be on my stomach any more it will be too uncomfortable or something? I still lay on my back some but read here you'll quickly get dizzy when you shouldn't be anymore.
I'm almost 18 weeks and showing...I sleep kinda on my belly/side. At some point it just becomes impossible. You'll know when. Last pregnancy it was about 6 months in but I suspect this one is coming soon as I'm showing bigger earlier.
@cgss11 I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and I also wake up on my stomach. I'm normally a tummy sleeper anyway and even with falling asleep on my side, I still wake up on my tummy. I think, like @sourlemon said, at some point it will become impossible to roll over on our bellies. Just because they'll be so big. I'm a light sleeper anyway so if I'm uncomfortable, I wake up. I think those pregnancy support pillows are supposed to help you stay on your side but I don't really feel the need to get one just yet.
Yes to the support pillows helping to keep you on your side. I'm still angling down on my belly but overall more on my side. However it *feels* like I'm on my belly when I have the support pillow. Just without the super uncomfortable part. Another note....the support pillows are like maternity clothes....once you go there, you never go back!
Thanks ladies..that's what I figured. I have a Snoogle (and love it) and it keeps me on my side most of the night, but once DH gets out of bed at 4:30 and I really spread out, I always wake up on my stomach then.
Still 100% on my stomach at 16 weeks. My bump barely exists though. Still find myself on my back a lot of the couch, too. I figure once anything becomes unsafe, it will also become uncomfortable.
