I'm currently standing outside like a jackass next to my car in the Walmart parking lot. I locked myself out of course. Currently waiting on H and DS to come to my rescue.
I've honestly been a hot mess this last week in forgetting lots of things and being disorganized.
Anyone else have pregnancy brain rear its ugly head yet??

Also- went to my parents house for the night and forgot my contacts AGAIN. And my glasses. My DH and I each had a car so my DH had to drive an hour home, get my contacts, drive an hour back and then I drove home. OOPS!
We hosted a 4th of July party and I was drinking diet soda, I never said I was drinking rum in it but a few people assumed I was so a friend mentioned I must have been buzzed to keep forgetting what I was doing. It worked as a nice cover.

For me, the other night it was getting late, husband and I were relaxing on the couch. I suddenly jumped up and took off to kitchen, when I got there I just stood looking around. Husband yelled in, what's wrong, are you getting something to snack on? I had no clue what I was doing so I just turned around and went back to the couch. I still don't know what was going on.
So I've been napping often and today I thought my husband fell asleep on our couch and I curled up and tried napping too. The kids were getting rowdy and wouldn't settle down so I asked them to go sit in timeout and fell back asleep. Then this really happened, I woke up while my daughter was changing the channel and I asked her why she wasn't still sitting in timeout. She asked, "we are in time out?" I said "yes be quiet daddy is sleeping." She said "wait, you put us in timeout?" I said "I thought so", and as I was becoming coherent I looked around and realized how crazy I sounded. I definitely did not put my kids in timeout lol it was soooo weird.
Then I set out chicken for supper and realized I didn't have much to go with it. We ended up having a type of blackened chicken I do, with boxed macaroni and cheese. Humph... my husband and son didn't care but my daughter thought I was joking until we sat down to eat and said "we really are eating chicken and macaroni and cheese" lol its been a long day for us.
Remebered I had left in in the kitchen, walked into the kitchen and couldn't remember why I was in there.
Sat down and reached for the remote.....
I left my purse at the gym after I went to cancel my membership (moving in less than a month) yesterday - thankfully they had it in a back office when I realized what I'd done and nothing was missing. And then today I forgot clothing in the bathroom of our hotel room. DH explicitly asked "are you sure we have everything?" I was all "yep" - got 20 minutes away, realized what I'd forgotten and turned around to go get the stuff. I told him that when we move and are stopping in hotel rooms he better not trust me when I say we've got everything - he needs to do a check too...
