Help! I've messed up and don't know how to fix it

I have my retrieval tomorrow morning and my information is conveyed via messages that they leave on s call line for me. My last message regarding the final details before retrieval was dropped twice halfway through the message and then they left a rushed message on my home phone. I talked with someone the next day and they broke it down for me. Listening to my message one final time tonight I realize I was supposed to talk to the nurse about final details for the night before. What have i missed?! Kind of freaking out now. It's too late to call and I'm worried I've missed something important. My DH said if it was important they would have left me a message but..... Ugh! I don't want this to cause my retrieval to be cancelled. Help!

Can you call the exchange to reach the doctor on call?

No they aren't available now and if it's an emergency I'm supposed to go to the hospital

I've taken my trigger shots and have stopped eating or drinking. Just worried I should be taking or doing something else

I had to start an antibiotic the night before (skip it the morning of - no drinks). No food or drink after midnight. No perfumes, scented lotion, deodorant, makeup Etc day of retrieval. I don't know if they prescribed you an antibiotic though, everyone's protocols are different

Thanks! I furiously searched the Internet for what people typically do. It looks like some people start antibiotics and others dont. I'm just going to go in the morning and explain the situation and hope they don't cancel it. My Dh simply thinks they should have called me if I didnt stop in and leave me the info. I've stopped drinking and I won't use scented anything.

Basically what @kfras said is how it went down with mine, though since my retrieval was at about 11:30am I was able to have a tiny sip of water to take my meds before 6am.

Maybe if they do perscribe antibiotics I can take them starting right after the retrieval. I hsve had 3 sonohystograms done and twice they didn't give me antibiotics and once they did.

If they didn't prescribe them ahead of time I wouldn't be concerned. Mine were prescribed same time as my stims etc so I had everything from the start. They just have you start the night before so it is already in your system in case of infection, but I'm sure it's not a deal breaker if you didn't take it the night before. Good luck tomorrow!

Thanks! Turned out I didn't miss anything and we went ahead with the retrieval.
