This is when I mostly get them. Anytime I'm active I cramp up but it feels more like muscle cramps than uterine. Either way, I have to stop and drink water and put my feet up and by the time they subside, I don't feel like walking anymore so my activity level has taken a hit!

@MRSCORKER@sportiegrl1213 yes here too! This week I've gotten a cramp twice in my side, like the cramp you get from running. Weird and it sucks.
Mine are in my lower abdomen. It feels like the muscles tighten and spasm. I've seen support tanks that help hold the bump up a bit, I wonder if that would help. I might try one.

my prenatal massage was fantastic. they do your back and most importantly your butt cheeks (its not as weird as it sounds, its over the blankets, and honestly it made me feel so much looser and relaxed)...I actually made an appointment for Monday because you guys made me want one so bad.
Ugh the exercise cramps are the worst. And I drink a ton of water. I'm with you on the lower activity level because of the cramps too, @MRSCORKER
Mine were in the lower abdomen as well. It was weird. I've been fairly active and never had that happen till today. So I came back and pounded a liter of water!

I had it start around 18ish weeks. It happens if I've had a busy day and been on my feet a lot or if I go for a walk/elliptical, etc.

@mrszoess... psh... butt cheek massages are the best. Pregnant or not. I'm always a little disappointed when the therapist I get doesn't do it but I'm not bold enough to flat out ask for it lol
This isn't exactly a symptom but.... Is anyone else measuring small? My doctor told me today that I'm measuring about 1cm small, which I know is totally normal but I can't help but feel a tiny bit nervous! I was measuring right on time at previous appointments. I'm also very short and small myself .... any other petite mamas measuring small?
@Blonde1817 I'm a petite mama measuring big, and although my FI is a behemoth man, my OB assured me it really has nothing to do with how big or small baby will be while growing in the womb. They just kind of do their thing. I wouldn't worry if I were you, especially if everything has been aces so far. They have growth apurts, and then they have slow growing periods. As long as everything else looks good, I would think it's safe to assume all is well
I wouldn't worry about 1cm, which is like 1 week if I understand, and especially if it's the first time. If your doctor isn't worried, you should be good.
I was measuring fine - I only got measured once, at my 24 week appointment. BUT my uterus feels too short and doesn't seem to be growing to me. It's been right under my belly button for weeks, and even seemed further under my belly button than before sometimes! (Maybe baby is transverse, creating a more elliptical, wider than tall uterus?) Or maybe it's because I'm high-waisted?
Anyway, my point is that people are not manufactured so every one is a little different. Things don't work like clockwork.
I don't know if this is a symptom or just me. *may be TMI* So yesterday my chest hurt bad it was like heart burn that was trying to escape. I ended up throwing up all night but it wasn't just normal puking I was throwing up undigested food from 1pm this was midnight. I've felt nauseous all day since feel like everything I eat is just sitting in my tummy waiting for bedtime again. My DH is worried neither of us are getting any nutrition and there is something wrong with my digestion system. I just want to pig out like a normal pregnant woman.
@Mintz1982 have you tried sticking to easy-to-digest foods? I'm not having the same problem lately (except once or twice bc of eating more than I have stomach room for) but remember with MS throwing up lots of undigested food...but either during or right after meals. If it keeps happening I'd say ask your doctor, and try eating really small meals..if I remember correctly your husband is a chef so maybe see what gourmet puréed concoctions he can whip up?
Does pupps always start on the belly? I have some small bumps on my arm that started out as one or two small bumps at the bend of my arm a week ago maybe, but now are a (still small) cluster... And itch periodically. I'm thinking probably not pupps but just wondering about others' experience. There's just nothing I've been introduced to that's new and could have caused something like this and if it were bug bites they would be gone by now...

I got obstetric cholestasis my first pregnancy. It was torture. Might be worth mentioning to your care provider if it's getting worse. Typically it doesn't start until late pregnancy but there is a first for everything. They kept telling me I only had PUPP but it was actually a bigger issue.

@Mintz1982 Is this still going on? Hopefully it's nothing, but if you have any shoulder pain, I'd say maybe gallbladder... I know several women who have experienced the extreme heartburn-like sensation along with vomiting AND shoulder pain who ended up with gallbladder issues...
I don't want to scare you or anything. My fingers are crossed for you!
