Prenatals

I was so excited to grow long, full hair while taking prenatals but instead, my hair is so knotty, not really growing & is super dry! & my nails are breaking off every other second. I'm 19 weeks, will it change?
Does anyone else have this issue? Any home remedies to help?

I found that the texture of my hair changed for the worse last pregnancy. Yet, my skin was great and nails were super strong. This time everything seems generally the same. The hormones effect everyone differently.

With my first baby, my hair was luscious and shiny and my nails were long and perfect.  Now with my second pregnancy, I'm having the opposite effect.  You can blame it on your hormones.  I'm not really doing anything to fix the problem.

I switched my vitamins at the beginning of my pregnancy to NatureMade and my nails and hair went to crap.  I went back to my old vitamins and my hair and nails got stronger.  A lot of mainstream vitamins contain a lot of fillers (and I also switched back after there was the huge recall on NatureMade).  I pay a little extra for mine, but in the end it's worth it to me.

I never got good nails with my first pregnancy and haven't with this one either. Bummer. I have the worst flimsy, break down low, nails ever.
As for my hair, it's thicker and grows significantly faster.

My hair is growing super fast and so are my nails.  I take the gummy prenatals.

My nails have always grown super fast so I don't see a huge difference there. My hair is getting longer and is pretty shiny and my skin is nice and clear but I think that's bc my body does well with extra hormones!

My nails are brittle too. They weren't last time and I'm taking the same prenatal. Whomp.
