Bowing out loss

Ladies, I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support. Some of you may know that what started out as spotting turned into bleeding earlier his week. On Wednesday I heard the heartbeat and they said things looked normal but the dating was off and I just didn't feel right.

I've been laying low as things progressed in a negative direction. I just came from Triage where they confirmed the loss. For the PGAL moms - I can't believe your resilience!

Thanks again for your support through those early times. I feel numb now but I'm sure it will be okay at some point. Have happy healthy and awesome pregnancies!!! I'm so grateful for my little guy DS#1 and I'm sure you all can't wait to meet your little ones! It just wasn't meant to be for us this time around.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I know it is devastating. I had a similar experience a few years ago- heartbeat on ultrasound at 7.5 weeks but measuring small. At 10 weeks dr confirmed no growth and it was a miscarriage. I never miscarried naturally, so had to have a D&C. There is light at the end of the tunnel. It will get easier. You may be very fertile following this loss. I conceived again right after being given the green light from my doctor and went on to have a healthy baby girl (my second). There is hope! Sadly losses happen, but especially given that you have a child already, your chances are SO good at having a healthy pregnancy next time. Thoughts and prayers with you.
