growth spurt?

Hi all,  My DS will be 6 weeks on Monday and has had a weird pattern the lst 2 days.  He barely napped yesterday, ate every 2.5-3 hrs, went down at 740/8 for the night, woke at 1 to eat, again at 5, put him down and he woke up around 8 to eat.  He has been asleep almost ALL day.  He's still been eating every 2.5-3, but had to wake him at this last feed.....I'm a STM but my first is 5 and I honestly don't remember this stage with her except the colic....anyone else experiencing this?

Six weeks is a common growth spurt time and it can definitely come with a lot of sleep

I thought so, it's just been a ton today. He's up now that we're in an ice rink for his sister's hockey practice. Hopefully he sleeps at night tonight.
