Midwives/NWH

Looking for more current feedback/insight from any Mamas who have birthed at Newton-Wellesley (NWH) with a midwife. We are expecting our first at the end of January and have our first prenatal appointment soon with Naomi Feingold at Harvard Vanguard in Chestnut Hill, who we also had a pre-conception/routine appointment with back in February. Would love to hear thoughts on the combined midwife/OB approach, etc. and how you found your experience at NWH in terms of them respecting any birth wishes, etc. Thanks ladies!

I delivered my first at NWH (didn't use a midwife) but I can't say enough good things about the hospital.  Everyone was fantastic!  I didn't have any hard and fast birth wishes, except I wanted to try to stay med-free.  The Dr asked once, and then backed off.  Because of BP issues, I was limited in my labor positions, so I finally caved on the epi, but it was not pushed in any way.
