Board Threads

I know there are only a few of us so far, but I'm antsy for interaction! What kind of threads do we want to have on our board, aside from ticker changes? Some of the weekly threads that I've seen from lurking on other BMBs include symptoms, appointments, fitness check-ins, and random other fun/GTKY type of things.

Then there are the dailies! The usual ones I tend to see on most boards are Man Crush Monday and/or Monday Bitchfest and/or Mealplan Monday, Twatwaffle Tuesday, WTF Wednesday and HDBD once bumps appear, UO Thursday, and FFFC Friday and/or Furbaby Friday.

Any other ideas?

I love the normal ones! I can't think of any others (I am so glad your running this show!).

Can I also say how excited I am for HDBD? It's my favorite.

I was thinking we should start a symptoms thread! 

I know in F15 we had a daily "spam" thread for random conversation... the first person on every day would just start it, I can do one for today!

I love the normal ones, too! I think maybe as we get more people we can do things like TTGP and PGAL check-ins as applicable. Either way, I demand a fantastic and fun BMB! I felt cheated last time because of all the drama that happened.

Me too! I had SUCH a great experience until the mass exodus, such a bummer

Also, I remember there being a MoM board daily too...

Mom's of multiples, I wasn't a member, but I think it was a board to discuss where they were at in their pregnancies since (I'd assume) a multiples pregnancy is different than a single pregnancy? You know, Dr apts, fetal development, etc...

ETA: it could have been a weekly board, not a daily board...

That's right, I should've figured that out! Yeah, I'm sure MoM and high risk check-ins will probably get added on too once they're needed (though hopefully we won't need the high risk one).

where can I find where all of the BMB codes mean. I've always been a casual lurker before now and would love to not be too lost! Haha ovbvi I get the traditional, but I don't know most of the dailies. TIA

ETA: For daily threads, HDBD is hump day bump day, UO is unpopular opinion, and FFFC is flame-free Friday confession. TTGP is trying to get pregnant and PGAL is pregnancy after loss.

O16 did ticker change weekly checkins too- so if you change weeks on Saturday, you have a weekly check in with everyone who has a Saturday change. Depending on how busy the board is, it can be nice to have a smaller group to get to know better.
