@vssbrm aww your grandparent story is very cute! I love when families are just as invested, it makes the pregnancy that much more special. 

I called my nurse... just have to wait til tomorrow. I am not soaking a pad so she said it isnt something that is considered an emergency (which I kinda figured). It obviously provokes panic for me, any kind of blood will. But for them, its normal. So I wait, again. You would think I would be less nervous since it keeps happening, but my anxiety gets worse every time.

@dragonfaerie how cute that you saw your baby do a little dance. I hope to see the same on Friday! I feel like my u/s's have been so quick that I don't get to see much. Also, all my questions fly out of my head when I see that u/s that I forget to ask everything! lol

Does it bother anyone else when people are like "Oh, you are so having a girl/boy because *insert old wives' tale here*? DH and I would like to have a boy, but obviously, we will be absolutely thrilled with either. But for whatever reason, it just really irks me when people say that. Literally there is no way for us to be sure until we see an u/s and even then sometimes they mess up, so shush! Maybe I'm just moody...

@Tulips29 I definitely have to take notes during the week to remind myself what I want to ask otherwise I would forget! I hope that this next u/s they just let you watch your little one for a minute.

@tulips29 sometimes I ask to see for longer on an ultrasound. I just ask "can I see the heartbeat again?" Etc. they usually let me. I mean now it's like I get to see the baby only a couple times.

@ultratomato I don't really have any symptoms either, except for the nausea. Which gives me some type of reassurance.
@dragonfaerie definitely Marshalls and TJ Maxx have some good bras for good prices. Also try burlington I found a few bras last month at a decent price.
@Tulips29 I also forget all my questions by the time my appointment comes around, lol, I guess we can blame it on pregnancy brain. Hope you get to see your baby for longer on Friday.

My nausea was really bad last night, I had to chew ginger gum, eat saltines, drink ginger-ale and then finally I couldn't take it anymore so I took my phenergan which must have helped because I dozed off. I will definitely be looking for bigger shirts to wear because the bloating is real. DH says he can tell I am definitely bigger than 2 months ago. Hopefully I can hide my belly until the 2nd trimester where I will tell more people.

@Colleen0516 I'm glad you called and are going in just to reassure you.

@chicandbubbly I am on the same timeline as you. My due date is about February 27th. I'm also bloated from progesterone, I'm sure. I get sick when I lie down at night and I have HORRIBLY itchy skin! My stomach is flaking and is so dry. It's the only symptom I didn't expect and it's kinda driving me nuts, haha.
I told myself, though, should I get pregnant, I will not complain about symptoms. I'm just excited to finally have them!
Going in for Beta #2 tomorrow morning I'll then get my first u/s at the end of next week it sounds like.

Qotw: We told our immediate family right away. As far as making a big announcement,  that won't be for a while. I told a few of my closest friends. We're going to wait until the end of the first trimester and will then start telling other family members and friends. I think

I have my monthly OB appointment today. I'm 13 weeks and it's nice to be so close to done with this first trimester. Maybe I'll be able to breathe a little easier now that we are supposed to be in a somewhat safer zone.

So things may be taking a turn for me. I went to the doctor today for a sonogram and there was no heartbeat. I am 6w5d pregnant.  She said the baby is still measuring a week behind, and she is concerned by that. She basically told me to prepare for a miscarriage. I am back to a 10% viable pregnancy and a 90% miscarriage. She said if I am the rare case of late implantation, than I will be pleasantly pleased and shocked on Thursday. While it still is a possibility, she wants to realize that there is a much greater chance that it is not that. But she doesn't want me getting my hopes up so she is preparing me for the 90%. She told me miscarriages are so hard in themselves, she wants me to be mentally ready. 

I go back on Thursday (one week), unless I bleed over the weekend- then I go back on Monday. If Thursday there is no heartbeat (I would be almost 8 weeks) then she said she can do a D&C on Friday or just wait and miscarry naturally. 

So sadly I may be leaving this board soon. I am beyond devastated    
The limbo has been such torture. I cant help but be hopeful, yet I am always fearing the worst.  Its horrible.

On the positive note, may I will try again over the summer and be back here in  a few weeks. For now, I just remain in limbo- hoping and fearing. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and support. Don't think I could have remained as sane without hearing from people who have been in my shoes.

@Colleen0516 Oh sweetheart, I am so so sorry to hear this. Praying that you will get your miracle and babe is just a late implanter. *Hugs* to you, I am so sorry you have to go through this.

@Colleen0516 I'm so sorry, girl. I don't have much to say, but just be strong and remain hopeful. I'll keep my fingers crossed tightly for you and pray that you'll fall into that 10% and be able to hear a heartbeat by next week. I do admire your positive outlook and that you're ready to get back into the swing of things if this doesn't work out. Stay strong and we're all here for you!

We just saw our little babe. It's finally starting to look like a baby! And it waved to us. It was so cute. I was also discharged for my RE which is so surreal.

So my OB appt yesterday kind of bummed me out. I was all excited b/c I finally finished all of my IVF meds and was ready for a "normal pregnancy." Well now my dr is concerned that I have borderline high blood pressure. So I need to have a perinatal consult to see what they recommend. She said she doesn't want me to be discouraged b/c we are just being preventative but I'm still bummed. I've been doing everything right. Other than that baby is doing well so I'm trying to focus on that.

Need to vent: Are anyone else's hormones just raging at this point?? Today is the worst, I don't feel like myself and I want to be ragey at everyone and everything. DH is not helping the situation either. Not liking this part of being preggers! Maybe I just need a loooong nap.

Yes totally @vssbrm I am SO ragey. I flipped out in the middle of the night on DH because he farted and I was just over it. There are no tears here just rage. Ugh.

@susykat77 THE FARTING!!! I have asked my husband so many times to go in the other room bc smells just really get to me. He refuses. So I just get to feel on the verge of vimiting for the following 10 mins. I have almost wished I would just vomit so he would have to clean it up!!

@vssbrm I have had a few really bad moments of rage where I just wanted to go off on whoever is in front of me. Usually it's my husband when he does something that annoys the crap out of me. But yesterday was the worst. We were at a bbq and I met a friend of a close friend that I haven't met before. This guy was so obnoxious and full of himself, making lame jokes and telling stories just to impress everyone around him that I couldn't take it. He then made a few comment at DH that he thought were hysterical and I gave him the dirtiest look I could. When he went away finally, I told DH and my close friend that I was THISCLOSE from punching that guy in the face. My hormones were raging and that douchnozzle was on my last nerve the whole day. Just the sound of his voice almost set me off. My husband was like "whoa, can't mess with you when you're pregnant." Damn right!

@tulips29 I was curious as to when we get "promoted" lol to our Obgyn. 
Although, I love my RE and never want to leave. 

Im alright. Very scared and anxious. Thursday morning can't come soon enough. I am spotting a little right now, so depending on how much I spot- I may just go in tomorrow. The stress of wondering what going on, can't be helping. So id rather eliminate the worry and just know.
