What is your health/nutrition goal this
week? More vegetables; fewer snacks. And to get back to tracking my food so I know what I’m
eating and what nutrients I might be missing.
What is your fitness goal this week? I’m
going to be more realistic this week and say 5 days of running. I’d also like to take longer walks with
my toddler at least three days this week especially since we’re on break from our
usual toddler and parent classes and he might go stir crazy.
Any challenges this week? It
has been rainy and cold all week, so I’ve been having trouble getting out for
walks. It’s supposed to warm up and stop raining this week, though, so that
should improve.
How did you do with your goals last
week? Not great. Too
many snacks, not enough vegetables, and I only ran 4 days (though I did
substitute a workout DVD for one of the missing workout days).
GTKY: What "forbidden" food or drink are you most looking forward to
post-pregnancy? I am excited about having champagne on New Year’s Eve. I’m also looking forward to have some
brie in the hospital.
What is your health/nutrition goal this week? Quit the desserts. I cannot stop baking or making desserts! What's wrong with me?
What is your fitness goal this week? Just continue going to my workout classes. I did so good last week! Did 3 workouts that kicked my butt!
Any challenges this week? Just lazy this week.... and I dunno if you ladies can relate, but when I miss ONE of my workouts, I feel like the whole week is a flop, so I just don't do them all. Usually, I workout on Saturdays or Sundays and do a hard workout... but SO and I are doing our wedding ceremony on the beach this weekend, and I know I'll miss out on the weekend workout (trading a workout in for sleeping in and breakfast in bed!)... so because of that, I'm feeling like I just wanna miss out on my Tuesday and Thursday workout too. Isn't that awful?
How did you do with your goals last week? I kicked butt. Did barre on Tuesday, a bootcamp on Thursday and boxing on Saturday! I felt so badass.

What is your health/nutrition goal this week? Eat when I'm hungry and avoid random snacking/overeating when I'm not hungry. Choose foods with higher nutritional contents (*ahem* fiber in particular...obvious reasons). Keep drinking tons of water.
What is your fitness goal this week? Some type of movement every day. Workout at the gym or Barre DVD at least 4-5 days and walk the dogs most days (it's getting so much harder with the heat). Prenatal yoga 1x.
Any challenges this week? DH will be out of town this weekend, so that'll make it easier to find time to exercise, but harder to motivate to cook the meals I planned instead of just snacking.
How did you do with your goals last week? Last week went well. I did a good job of listening to my hunger cues. I would like to choose more nutrient-dense foods this week after our fathers day bbq (and leftovers).
GTKY: What "forbidden" food or drink are you most looking forward to post-pregnancy? I am dreaming of a nice rainbow roll and a large glass of Riesling. They have a mini fridge in the birth suites and they suggested that people often store a post delivery meal for mama. Someone will definitely be picking me up some sushi! And maybe a nice medium-rare steak

What is your fitness goal this week? Walk up the stairs at least once per day (I work up 11 flights of stairs) Any challenges this week? I know I only need 300 extra calories per day, but I am sooooo hungry in the morning I often make a bagel with cream cheese for the road.
How did you do with your goals last week? I didn't have any goals last week.
GTKY: What "forbidden" food or drink are you most looking forward to post-pregnancy? a stiff drink.

What is your fitness goal this week? Zumba tonight, and hopefully walks every other night.
Any challenges this week? Bum foot from the power washing incident is making exercise difficult.
How did you do with your goals last week? I haven't checked in here in weeks, but at my anatomy scan last week, my doctor was all "I see you've gained some weight..." Ugghhhhh. I'm still exercising regularly, but I know I'm over-eating. Gotta get that under control.
GTKY: What "forbidden" food or drink are you most looking forward to post-pregnancy? I don't really drink and I'm not as brave as others about eating forbidden foods, so definitely a medium-rare steak and homemade tiramisu from our favorite local Italian place. Also, I look forward to being able to eat lunch meat and hot dogs/corn dogs without feeling guilty.
