I started vomiting this morning. It's been 5 hours, and I think I'm keeping the last couple sips of gatorade down. Before that - more came out than went in. I don't even know how that's possible.
Please, please let this be a stomach bug, and not morning sickness.
Thanks everybody!!! I'm still in triage. I have some bleeding but I heard the heartbeat!!!!! The ultrasound tech wouldn't show me the screen or talk about what she saw. That's so weird and not consistent with my experience last year. She says she is only here to take the pictures. So I just got up and took a picture of the screen and looked! I saw the embryo and at least she allowed me to hear the heartbeat. I started crying because now it is real so this is nerve wracking! Am waiting on the midwife to discuss the results after the radiologist signs off on it. I have no idea if anything is wrong!
This has been my experience with technicians too - I think they are often not allowed, by policy, to comment on what they see for liability reasons. Definitely don't read into her silence. Fingers crossed the Doctor will have good news for you soon!
@caribbeanmama FX that everything's fine! A giant relief to hear a heartbeat, I'm sure.
momousekee UGH, no good. FX it's not HG. From what I've read from other ladies experiencing severe vomiting, if it doesn't subside in 24 hours, get to the doc so they can hydrate you if need be.

Thanks, @Vastra. I ended up calling the OB's office to ask if I could take the zofran I already had.
"We don't recommend zofran anymore....." Then she sent me to the hospital for two liters of fluid and IV zofran. Dunno how that works out. Apparently there's a highly infectious viral gastroenteritis going around.
I was in triage until 2pm yuck! They can't explain the bleeding and it is ongoing - am still scared. The transvaginal US probably didn't help things ugh! They think the ultrasound looks normal. They didnt find a SCH or any cysts, fibroids etc. They did however date me at 6 weeks not 7 weeks 5 days. I could be off by a few days because of OPT variance and delay in implantation and sperm and whatnot but not off by 12 days! The nurse midwife on call thinks I don't know how to count... I asked for a second opinion on the ultrasound and they got the perinatal OB to look and she dated me at 6 weeks 1 day. This is just impossible. There was also a difference between the gestational sac measurement and the crown to rump measurement. At the end of the day, they just can't explain it told me to come in if things get worse. I won't - I hate triage.
@PerraSucia it was 119 - normal range for 6 weeks. I just can't physically work that date out. We only did thebabymaking dance twice around the OPK surge - DS#1 is a frequent waker who also sleeps in our bed... Even if the OPK test was off it couldn't be more than a day or two.
@caribbeanmama if you weren't temping it's possible for OPKs to be off, and Sperm can survive up to 5 days in your body, so hopefully you are wrong about your O date and you just got lucky with not great timing. I'll be thinking of you and hoping your LO is a sticky bean.
Sending positive thoughts @caribbeanmama! I think I read somewhere that the early ultrasound measurements can be off by a little bit so maybe it's off by a couple days and you're off by a couple days and then everything is good!
Heartburn hit me this morning at 4am... Hoping this is just a result of fajitas for dinner last night and not something I'm going to be dealing with.

The headaches have hit. I remember this from last time but I thought I was in the clear. Sitting in bed with the lights off while DD entertains herself next to me. This is gonna be a long day.
I don't have a lot of symptoms yet. Boobs are sore and a little nauseous. Last pregnancy hyperemesis set in at 6 weeks so for now I'm just holding my breath and waiting....
@fourPsinapod this is me too. The migraines have been so severe from my drugs that my RE made me go to a regular doctor to make sure I wasn't having a stroke. I guess migraines with aura area bad sign.
I woke up with the sorest boobs this morning. They've always been sore since my BFP, but this morning...had to hold them to my chest! Now I've got massive boobs (40DDD before I got pregnant) and they just keep getting bigger and sorer!
I also have a dry cough. It's rather irksome. If I don't control my breathing and calm down, it turns into gagging and then (probably) vomitting. I haven't yet, but any day now...
I'm not fond my nose feeling stuffy either. Nostrils switching off on duty!
Also the fatigue and migraines are killing me. Since I can't take Excedrin, they take 2 days to go away with sleep, as much caffeine as allowed, and Tylenol. My poor FitBit wonders why I barely move anymore.
I was at 8K-9K before. Now I barely make my 5K goal...I only do on days I can go for a walk. And with hot and humid MI weather...it's a pain to find a time where my body and the weather coexist happily! Glad to know I'm not the only slow poke on FitBit!
Right now, my only symptoms are huge, sore boobs. Yesterday my stomach felt uneasy in the morning but got better as the day went on. Last time, I was super sick so not looking forward to that again!
2. Any new symptoms this week? Nausea started first thing this morning and my DH decided to comment
that he thinks its a psychological thing. I refrained from smacking him
and told him he needs to do some research on what not to say to your
pregnant wife.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions?
see above for my RANT. Rave - i want all the bad food. and ginger ale. Questions - i'm having difficulty with a really nasty cold (mucus, ear ache, sore throat) any recommendations? I've been drinking tea and sipping soup.
has anyone else gotten like cramping but sharp pains in their vag after exercising? I wasn't pushing it, mostly a quick paced walk on the treadmill and I did jog but for only a quarter of a mile. Then about 15 minutes after I stopped I got the pain there. No bleeding so I'm hoping everything is ok and it went away after a half hour or so. Not sure if I managed to just stretch myself weird there and that's what hurt or if it's a pregnancy thing...

I think that's "lightening crotch" haha I get that randomly. I don't think it's anything to worry about!
1. 8 weeksish? Honestly not very sure haha 2. Throwing up is the devil. Zofran is the devil but also amazing...I can't decide which. 3. I'm stressing a little. I'm getting out of the military and insurance is so difficult. Thankfully I'm heading reserves so I can sign back up for tricare but it can take 90 days to kick in. In the meantime I am covered for all ER care but no routine care. So this means I shall not see the OB/midwife until almost 16 weeks pregnant possible even later. We don't get an US until 20 weeks anyway and it's not like they do anything at appointments up until then except measure fundal height and take blood pressure but it would just be nice to go in and idk get some reassurance that all is well....so is life. They did give me a 3 month supply of prenatal a though woo hoo!
Thanks @wineo929 and @MonaLisaRalphio! I feel like I'm hyper intuned to every twinge in my body so I think I just need to stop analyzing every bump and pain. I appreciate you guys taking the time to help even if I'm being crazy

Bruising easily - one quick thing, not even sure 100% that it's pregnancy related. The last few days I've been bruising very easily--didn't really think anything beyond me being extra clumsy from being so tired. But today I saw it happen--I was taking out the garbage and went to lift the dumpster lid with the palm of my hand. It slipped, and bumped my wrist a little, I angled my arm more and caught it before it fell all the way. Now my wrist is showing some serious color. I know it didn't hit it *that* hard. Weird! Anyone else?
@MrsLittleMac if it's not common for you then it could be a pregnancy symptom. Maybe extra blood flow could lead to that? I'm not a doctor or an expert on the matter though. I always bruise easily, so much so that a lot of times I have no clue what happened to cause the bruise. Some people are just more sensitive to bruising and with all the changes pregnancy and hormones does to our bodies I wouldn't be surprised if it can cause that too!

2. Any new symptoms this week? Super tired and nauseous all the time...Ugh!
3. Rants/Raves/Questions? I know I ovulate late like 3-4 days will this have an impact on my due date? If so could be a March baby as I am due Feb 25th with LMP. Not worried about it as I have a dating ultrasound but was curious. Hoping for a safe healthy pregnancy for all.
2. Any new symptoms this week? All day nausea started 2 days ago. Still tired.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions? As much as I love summer I can't help but wish time would go faster! I can't wait to be further along, know everything is okay and do a big announcement in August.
2. Any new symptoms this week? Starting about 2 days ago, I'm especially emotional. Crying about every little thing... I have the occasional morning sickness, but has only thrown up twice since pregnancy. I consider myself lucky. Oh yes... I am extremely tired this week. Glad i wasn't the only one. I actually, scarily, fell asleep at the wheel... luckily it was just for a couple seconds, and it was not on the freeway, and I was only 2 blocks from work.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm already an emotional person to begin with. I absolutely hate that I cry over everything now... but I am loving this pregnancy and definitely consider myself lucky. I am also a high risk mama, due to being overweight and having hypertension. Does anyone know... if you have hypertension, does that mean you're most likely going to have preeclampsia? Or are you just at risk for it?
