Am I the only one who gets nervous at every scan. I'm sitting here praying that I'm where I need to be and have not ovulated early.

I was that way, praying my follicles were growing together, that they all were growing, that everything was normal, etc.

You aren't alone in that.  I pray all goes well.

 I have to go back wed and will probably trigger then and ret Fri. Follies one at 17.9 another at 16. Then the rest were 12 to 14. Had five on each side. Can't say I wasn't disappointed hearing to keep taking meds but as long as I get preggo  it is worth it.

@mrsmoten313 you never know about those smaller guys!  My RE said that he was watching 6 big guys at like each scan but in the end was able to retrieve 10!

@mrsmoten313 you are not alone! Every single time I go into my RE's office for blood work and scans I'm a nervous wreck waiting for the phone call. Even for the call after baseline appointments I get nervous that something will go wrong to delay starting the cycle.

I totally feel you. I'm on my first cycle of IVF, and I watch the screen like a hawk when they do the scans. I'm trying to take it easy and not obsess, but it's hard for me to think about anything else at this point--I'm probably looking at retrieval Friday or Saturday and it feels so close but so far!

@mrsmoten313 that's exciting to have the trigger day!  The smaller ones still have time to catch up.  I know it's all you think about.  I had a couple of my smaller ones also catch up, so it is possible. 

@UnicornsPlease I completely understand. Having a trigger day seems like it can't get here fast enough.

I'm there with you, I get nervous everytime I go in that something will go wrong. Either I won't respond to the meds, or I have ovulated early, etc and they will have to cancel the cycle.

It sounds like everyone go through this hurry up and wait. And anxiety, and nerves. All while trying to "stay calm". Has anyone in the history of ever calmed down just because they were told to?

In our situation, we needed to wait three months for the clomid to work. I'm not going to say that they flew by, but it seemed like I was more patient than I am now. I am somewhere between 2-3 from weeks away (pending how late I am) from my first day of AF and I'm a nervous anxious wreck waiting for it to get started. That is when we'll start meds for 1st IUI.

Sooooo just it the call. Instead of wed my appt is now Thur. Very disappointing. But this better work.

@Isthisthereallife yea when you have to wait it kills you the time passes but when it gets closer it's like time is standing still.
@MMD1986 that's exactly how I'm feeling now like they are letting too much time pass by and we are going to miss it.
