DH isn't speaking to the dog. He kept jumping up on the bed last night and waking him up, so he didn't sleep very well. Dog keeps going over to him with toys and whatnot and DH is like, Nope, you are not forgiven. So the dog sulks back in his bed. Poor puppy.

I just found out that there actually are english dubbed episodes of Naruto Shippuden. I can get a complete set of episodes 1-348 for $500. Now I just have to wait until they finish the other episodes.

My car stereo was stolen today. They didn't have to break in to the car because... well... the front door lock is malfunctioning... and they didn't take anything else. The stereo was many many years old... like almost 10 or so... and not really worth anything. I'm appreciative that they didn't mess anything else up but come on... you won't even get a single hit of anything for that stereo.

I have lost a good 15 pounds while pregnant. Not sure whether to be excited about all the weight loss or worried or just meh, cause I know I'll gain it all back anyway.

Is it ok if I let my toddler eat a donut while she's sits on the toilet? Ugh I hate potty training! She gets a donut, proclaims she needs to poo, DH takes her to the potty and takes the donut away. Commence meltdown and she doesn't want to potty now. I yell to him "just give her the dang donut!"and he says "but I don't even eat on the toilet".......I know he does, I've found wrappers in the bathroom trash!

Yes. Absolutely. You do potty training However works, IMO

@sourlemon I just asked my DH if he was pro or anti donut while kid was pooping and he said no donut, along with, " I shouldn't have to explain why." Which means he has no good reason.

I can't think of a specific time, but I bet food has been consumed while i was on the toilet, at some time in my life. Lol. 

Eat away, IMO.

I literally ate my cereal on the toilet the morning. I had just poured the milk and I realized I needed to go. I wasn't happy about it but had no option. What was I supposed to do?! Let it get soggy and warm?

Next time she will get her donut on the toilet lol. I had a long (ish) chat with DH after kiddo went to bed. He turned bright red when he said it's gross to eat on the toilet, and I pulled out 3 chocolate wrappers from the otherwise empty trash! Ha! Caught ya. 

Last night was a total potty training fail though. She asked to go 6 times then would scream every time on the potty. After an hour we gave up. She wasn't going  and I don't think she needed too, just wanted attention. 

I hope this kid is fully potty trained before the baby is born.

DH invited his friends over to help get rid of some of the alcohol in the house, so we don't have to bring it all to my parents house when we're tented. They've killed 2 bottles and are working on 2 more now. I'm sad because there's whiskey and I can't have any. But we've just ordered $50 worth of pizza and 2 of our friends them are crashing on my couches tonight. And it's Thursday. This is my life.

OMG you guise, I THINK I FELT KICKING!!! Was chilaxing on the couch and all of a sudden, bump bump bump on my right side. Nothing like the twitches I feel in my belly when I go to bed. Haven't felt anything like it since. I'm 16 weeks today. I shouldn't be feeling kicking this early, should I????

@phoenix870509 From what I've read, you generally start to feel movement from 16-22 weeks, so you probably really did feel it! That is so exciting!

I just had 2 big ones, that rocked my belly just barely enough for H to ask if they were kicks. I'm just a week ahead of you. It could definitely be kicks.

I'm 17 weeks and I've been feeling baby bumping around for the past week.  I'm pretty sure that the baby is too small to feel kicks so I just imagine it's flipping around in there...

I'm 16 weeks and have been feeling movements for a good 3 weeks now...usually when my bladder is full. But my first pregnancy I didn't feel anything until close to 19 weeks. I think this time I just knew what it felt like, so picked up on it sooner.

I think it could definitely be baby movement! How exciting!!!

@phoenix870509 How exciting! I'm almost 15 weeks, and so far I have only felt a rolling sensation on my left side if I'm laying on it. It's so strange! Can't wait to feel more movement. ^_^


OK, so I finally felt like I had to poop today, so I went to the bathroom with the squatty potty. I'm doing my thing...and a spider falls onto my lap. A spider. I am terrified of spiders. It startled me so much I jumped off the toilet and ripped my clothes off, squealing. DH ran up the stairs and burst in because he thought I was hurt, and found me naked and dancing around trying to escape the spider. Where did the spider come from? What did it want? So many questions. I need a vacation.

I literally had a freaking bee moving around under my dress for a good 5 minutes before I realized it wasn't static making it move. I can't believe it didn't sting me. I also screamed and danced half naked in the hallway while my husband laughed forever. Just no!

@phoenix870509 I have been feeling little kicks this week in the front of my tummy, when I am like, in the car, or leaning forward sitting for too long-usually I think when the baby must feel squished! I never felt the "flutters" last time, it just went straight to these little bumps. I am 17 weeks so they started at 16, and mine started at 16 last time as well.

Basically-you could totes be feeling kicks!

@ashbozso No. Nope. Flying, stinging insects? Nope nope nope. I love bees for what they do to help the environment, but I wish to love them from afar. Like, the FAR afar. And wasps? Pffft puhlease.

I just spent an hour going through the Nov 16 board. It's entertaining, but now I feel like I waste an hour of my life...

So excited to hear so many of you are feeling movement in there. All I have felt so far is a weird poky feeling from specific spots in my lower abdomen. DH keeps saying its gas, who knows. Can't wait until I REALLY feel baby move without doubt. 

@dmontgo, my husband is an entomologist and we have a bug collection, some are very beautiful and most insects do not sting. But I am with you, I will rather see them dead on these display trays than have them flying towards me. I squeeeeeeel.

You guise - I had my first official sniss last night.  Womp womp.  That stuff didn't start until close to 3rd tri last time.  I guess carrying twins I will be peeing my pants when the wind blows by that time.

@DiFazette my bladder feels weaker this time too, and I'm not carrying twins. No snissing yet. But I usually have a bladder of steel and can wait hours between pees. Now I'm having to pee sometimes just 10 min after my last pee. We have a 5 hour ride home from the beach this afternoon, and I'm forseeing a long, uncomfortable ride with numerous stops...

I'm also peeing like it's my job, but a job I'm really bad at. Like... very little comes out even though I really feel the urge. and then sometimes it's way too yellow cos I'm dehydrated... bah.

The feeling like you have a full bladder, but can't/don't get much out can be a sign of Urinary Retention or a UTI.
Maybe get that checked out at your next app.

L just can't handle not being in his bouncer. If I try to take him out right now he wakes up,  and throws a fit until he gets back in the bouncer.
Sorry for the large pic. I  can't figure out how to make it smaller. Also sorry about the mess, I'm sorting L's clothes into too big/too small.

@Kate08Young - when DS was that age he would fall asleep in his and FREAK OUT if I tried to move him.  I thought it was so weird but I guess not!

Ahh! I feel like I miss out on so many awesome posts while at work! 

Question for those who know what baby kicks feel like: Could it be described as an uncomfortable feeling? Because I've been having this weird tapping feeling this week. It's not 'painful' but it's not really a fun feeling either.

Also random- I'm watching the Olympic trials right now and recognized someone I massaged this weekend. That's weird.

@cayaylonglegs - to me the feeling is more like a bumping feeling.  I guess it could be described as tapping.  It feels kind of like having gas, honestly, but the pattern of it doesn't make sense for gas.  I also occasionally will get an uncomfortable pinching sensation, but I'm not sure why.
