@sweetyjenj That's why you have to hold your ground when it comes to other people. I can't tell you how many eye rolls or comments I have gotten from family members when I say that dd can't have a certain something, or that we don't eat something because of certain ingredients. It's absolutely ridiculous. Like, excuse me? *I* am her mother, *I* am the one who says what she can and cannot eat. It is not up for debate or discussion. Don't like it? Keep your mouth closed. Why on earth someone would have an issue with me being vigilant about making sure my daughter doesn't ingest chemicals, preservatives, and lord-knows-what-else is beyond me. I go so far as to bring our own food when we go places.

  • I guess my UO is that I don't think 20% is very bad odds. If the weather report says there's a 20% chance of rain, I'd think it probably wouldn't rain, but it might. I definitely wouldn't be shocked if it did. I mean, it's a 1 in 5 chance. That's really not bad.

I'm not sure if this would qualify as un UO exactly...but it definitely gets me judgement, particularly from other moms. It is, therefore, not something I advertise.
I'm a super crunchy mom when it comes to nutrition. My dd (nearly 3) has never ate fast food or oreo cookies. I would sooner throw myself in front of a train than feed her a happy meal. We eat, like, 98% organic and unprocessed foods. It's just something I'm insanely passionate about.
You should be admired not judged
