We're having our third boy, and I would like to use Philip as the MN to honor my FIL. The name that comes readily to mind is Jon (nn "Jack") Philip, mainly because Jon has been on our short list twice already. Anyway, my DH isn't sold on that particular name combo, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I named my son Philip so I'm super partial to it! Good choice! Other names we threw around to go with it if we put it in the MN slot were Arthur, Nathan, Owen, and Marshall. What about Jonathan Philip?
My DH is John Philip, but he's always gone by Phil. I think Philip is a great name though that pairs well with most classic/traditional names, so it really depends on the overall flow of first, middle, last as to what would really work the best.
