    Lurker from out of town here. Lobster, scallops, clams, fish. I ate it all and never worried one stitch about it.

    I've eaten lobster, cold cuts, scallops, shrimp... Everything in moderation! Lobster is delicious!

    There's really no risk with eating cooked, warm lobster or other shellfish. Seafood/meat/cold cuts that are served cold are where a listeria risk is found.

    Lobster is fine - You just shouldn't eat the tamale (the pile of green stuff between the tail and the body) if you're eating whole lobster. It's the lobster's liver(?) and it's high in mercury. Just rinse or wipe that off.

    Even my overly cautious, super boring food safety app says lobster is a-ok. Why are supposed to worry about lobsters?

    We don't have lobster here but we do have crawfish.  I was told I can eat it in moderation.  They are concerned with the sodium intake.

    Barf.  You shouldn't eat that ever.  So gross.
