MN for Mavis?

Having a hard time coming up with a good middle name for one of our girl name picks. If we have a daughter with dark brown hair like DH, we will go with

Luna Mavis.

If the daughter has red hair like me, we'd go with

Mavis. ?


Any suggestions for a good middle name? My MN is Elizabeth so I'm kind of hoping to avoid that.

No hate here... totally just wondering... Why does the name depend on hair color? Is it like a coin flip thing - where if it goes one way your hubby gets his name and if it goes another you get yours? I ask because it might change! My husband grew up blonde and his hair is almost black now. I would hate for you to bank on a brown headed Luna Mavis if the color might not stick around. 

From the long list above, I love the middle names with stress on the second syllable (Colleen, Irene, Elaine). I think it makes it flow nicely.

I will echo the note that hair color can change- my first was born with a bunch of dark hair, and it was completely blonde (like, people stop to comment on how bright blonde he is) by the time he was 9months. If you love Luna Mavis, just go with that!

@emilyalso@kmvisioli I've thought about the hair changing, and I definitely see your point. I guess it's more about personality. We don't want to have just one name and it not fit, so we figured having a variation of the name we like would be a good idea.

I'm nuts, I know. Lol.
