Hi there!

so I'm 17 weeks today.
Next apt is July 7 for my 20 week US. 
Just had my 16 week apt and heard the heartbeat again. 
Work has really gotten strict about internet use so my participation has gone down a lot recently on the board
Favorite color is purple!

we are out of town visiting family for 5 weeks so my next appointment is when we get back on July 14.  
I haven't felt any movement yet, I'd really love to. It make me feel so much better,
my favorite color is green

Next milestone/appointment? Previous due date June 30, but about a week after that on July 6 I have my 20 week ultrasound, so I'm hoping that helps me through the milestone.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: Still fighting allergies - so over having a stuffy nose!

GTKY: I cannot think of anything so, what is your favorite color? I am one of those people who has trouble choosing a favorite color because it is so dependent on my mood and the situation, but I guess I tend towards purple, orange, and turquoise. (The only time in my life I remember having one favorite color was kindergarten when I loved hot pink!)

Next milestone/appointment? Regular OB appointment Wednesday, anatomy scan with MFM June 29th

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I can feel him move occasionally!  With my first I started feeling him around 19 weeks and after it started I could feel him pretty regularly.  This time I could feel him earlier, but it has been pretty sporadic. 

Questions? 

GTKY: I cannot think of anything so, what is your favorite color? Teal.  It used to be purple and for the  longest time I still said purple even though it was clearly teal at that point.

Rant/Rave/Anything else:  Starting to get overwhelmed with everything that we need for the baby we are starting all over and have nothing but a few outfits.

I have a few Hot pink, red, black, white, and glitter.

Next milestone/appointment? - A/S on the 20th

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I bought a Snoogle to help with my back pain...I don't like it, I kicked it out of bed after five minutes (the cat slept in it) I think I'm just going to go out and get a regular body pillow. All the little baby wiggles are my fave!

GTKY: I cannot think of anything so, what is your favorite color? - depends on the day but teal, violet and indigo (peacock colours)

@Muscatmommyof4 no vertigo here, but lots of dizzy spells from low BP! I hope you feel better soon

@comealongponds I wasn't a fan of the snoogle at first, I'd sleep with it half the night then kick it out of bed. I think it takes a few weeks to break down the fluff in it so it is more comfortable. I can sleep the whole night with it now.

@Megz1902 it's the under the head part I don't like...I'm very particular about my pillow placement and it doesn't work for me lol....I may give it another shot but not crazy about it yet!

@comealongponds yeah I found the part where your head goes was too firm at first. It did break in eventually.

@comealongponds Thank you I feel like my second trimester is worse then my first... I'm sorry you are dealing with low blood pressure and being dizzy those aren't fun either! Hope you feel better.

Thanks for all the responses last week. It was interetsting to hear how others are or aren't involved with MFM. I don't have a specific MFM doctor. I just go into the hospital for my scheduled scan there and get whoever they give me for that appointment. I sometimes don't even seen the doctor, just the person who does the scan. Sometimes the doctor pops in at the end just to verify everything is okay.

Next milestone/appointment? OB appointment June 21 or 22 and A/S July 6

Rant/Rave/Anything else: Just (not so) patiently waiting to feel flutters still...

I have a normal body pillow and love it! DH bought it for me once I got my belly I've never been a fan of the pregnancy pillows they are stiff/hard and to big my husband always ended up using them lol... @comealongponds

Next milestone/appointment? My next appt is June 23rd.  Which seems silly as it's only 3 weeks after my last one (which had been pushed back a week) and there's really nothing new going on.  Then my a/s is July 5th. 

Rant/Rave/Anything else:  I'm just happy I have a Doppler, so I can check in on the little one here and there.  I'm also getting nervous about flying on my own with my almost 2 year old next week.  We leave on Friday for a long weekend with my close college friends.  I'm excited, but the idea of having her on my lap to fly across the country is a little nervewracking!  Never mind how much I'm going to miss my H and older daughter.

@campbaby76 Thats a bummer that you have to wait so long for your next appointment. Will it be your a/s? Have fun visiting family.

@lajoliedreamer I would try to stay busy on June 30. That seemed to help for me. Also I wake up every morning with a stuffy nose!

@muscatmommyof4 No vertigo here. But with all the stuff you need, I have been keeping my eye out on varage sale, FB sale groups, and garage sales for deals on some of the bigger items. It has helped to get a few things here and there and not wait until last minute.

@comealongponds I have loved my Snoogle for the past 10 weeks. Now this week I feel like the head part is giving me lots of tension in my neck which is giving me headaches. I just push everything upward and then put a regular pillow where my head is. Seems to help for now.

@mollysm I am loving having a home doppler as well!

I've been having a hard time keeping up lately cause life.

Re snoogle - I didn't like it the first couple nights but after I got used to it and my body adjusted it is great. My hips feel a million times better.

I also love my Doppler. If I'm feeling nervous about baby at all I just pull it out and listen for a few minutes and I feel better.

I've had a couple small dizzy spells here and there but more just like I said up too fast and after a moment it's OK.

Next milestone/appointment? Next appointment is July 5th

Rant/Rave/Anything else: DH felt baby kick this morning! Reality has really been hitting me lately with the baby kicks getting stronger and hitting the halfway point so of course now instead of stressing so much about something being wrong with baby in now stressing about getting ready for baby instead. I an actually enjoying being pregnant for the most part now though. 

Questions?  Nope.

Purple in pretty much any shade though I prefer shades that lean towards blue.
