Hi everyone!
I'm new to this board. This is my third pregnancy in a little over 3 years. The first two pregnancies ended in MC (actually, the second was a still birth due to SCH). Hubby and I have been together for almost 10 years, and it took us almost 4 years to get pregnant the first time. The fact that it ended in MC, and then our son was born at 14 weeks, was just devastating. We actually kind of just stopped trying after that. We weren't necessarily trying to prevent, either. So in May I go to the ER because I think I'm passing a kidney stone and lo and behold, I'm pregnant! It was a shocker to say the least (almost 3 years exactly to the day our son was born). I was immediately terrified. I'm now 9w6d, and so far everything has went amazing. We just had our second ultrasound (technically 4th) at 9w1d, and we even got to see baby move a little. Up to that point Hubby and I (regretfully and defensively) had been a little resigned to feeling anything about this baby. BUT, once we saw it move and heard it's sweet little heart beat, we were both in love. Which scares me even more now, the heartbreak will be even greater. We go back July 5th (which seems FOREVER away) for our NT scan. We are due on January 9th. Here's a picture of our sweet little gummy bear.
