VERY embarassing question

Ladies,
I had a C-section delivery and recovery has been normal. Here's my question:
Two different occasions I had an involuntary bowel movement - not a vaginal discharge. But what came out was a mixture of poop and it looked kinda mixed with pus. I totally didn't expect it. Is this part of post partum recovery? The incident was so embarrassing that my hubs had to clean it off the couch. The other was while I was out shopping.

    When did you have your c section? I'd call the ob just to check up with them. Are you taking colace? Did it feel like gas?

    If you hadn't been in awhile sometimes it will look mucousy butbut because they were involuntary I would maybe call..

    I would call this doesn't sound normal to me if it was pus and involuntary - you want to rule out infection or something weird happening during the surgery. Taking two colace a day was hard on my body but I still had control over it. If they say it's nothing and you are taking it maybe lower the dose.
