Doing anything baby related this week?
Had an apt yesterday..things look good and he confirmed baby is head down. I thought so based on feeling hiccups low and the kicks up higher lately.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
acid reflux up my throat like all day...no matter what I eat. Ive been taking zantac and it was helping and now it hasnt been. Achy pelvic pain whenever I move in bed or get up from bed our sitting.
GTKY #1: Do you have a formal birth plan put together?
I have started one..last time we didnt even look at mine as there was no time. For sure this time I will be going in when I think is right and not listening to the nurses we barely made it in time... I hope I can get an epidural this time but part of me is like if I did it wo last time I can do it again but it did suck. AHH. I guess well see how it goes.
Plans for the weekend:
Its suppose to be hotter than heck out so hopefully stay inside and stay cool but Im sure my son will want to play with his pool so hopefully I can find a shady spot. My husband has been gone for work all week and returns Sunday so I am just flat out exhausted running after our 3 year old. Cant wait till hes home and I can hand him off. haha

Doing anything baby related this week?
Have an appointment on Tuesday... Getting the growth ultrasound before speaking to the doctor.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
Acid reflux kept me from falling asleep last night which made me mad because it's been staying away the past two weeks. New stretch marks. Also some strange blood blister like things on my stomach. Not giant, swelling, bloody ones, but hickey-like ones. They don't hurt or itch, so I'm guessing they are okay. I'll ask Tuesday.
GTKY #1: Do you have a formal birth plan put together?
I'm starting one this weekend. From what I understand from my doctor and hospital, a lot of the things I plan on doing are standard. I meet with the doula next week as well, so I'll be getting her input as well.
Plans for the weekend:
Tonight and Sunday night I'm going to a concert. Saturday is yoga, changing my name at the bank (been married two years, had my name changed for 1, it's about time!), and dinner with friends. Sunday a ladies only shower before the concert. We'll see how dead I am on Monday!
How many weeks are you? Size comparison?
35 - according to the Bump it's a pineapple, but baby boy has been measuring a month ahead so who knows!
Doing anything baby related this week?
Putting together crib and changing table in nursery tomorrow.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
Just really uncomfortable, definitely getting to that point where I am just feeling DONE!
GTKY #1: Do you have a formal birth plan put together?
Nothing formal, I am hoping to do another pain med free birth like with DD. I am a bit worried because baby has been consistently measuring big, and I have a second growth scan scheduled next week. My biggest fear is it will turn into a c-section if I can't deliver him. DH and I have already discussed that scenario and come up with a plan if surgery becomes a backup.
Plans for the weekend:
Working on nursery tomorrow, thankfully nothing planned for Sunday!

Doing anything baby related this week?
Had a growth scan ultrasound yesterday and baby is measuring right on time but is still breech...
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
Even though baby is breech, the past 1-2 weeks has been accompanied with growing, intense pelvic pain. I really thought it was because she had flipped head down and was becoming engaged but that is not the case. Now I'm wondering if her butt is lodged down into my pelvis! If true, she may never flip as she really doesn't have the run to anymore.
GTKY #1: Do you have a formal birth plan put together?
We haven't written anything formal down yet but we have talked about what we prefer, but our hospital already does most of the things we would want. However again, now that she is breech and may stay that way, a C-section may be in the cards for me.
Plans for the weekend:
My mom is flying into town today for the weekend. I can't wait to hear all her theories on how to raise a baby and her unwanted opinions about things in my life. I also think she'll try to convince us (again!) that her moving by us will be beneficial since we'll "need help". She retires July 1st so she'll have nothing to do essentially so I can't wait for the endless examples and scenarios she'll come up with for why she needs to be living close to us. DH is also going to out of town so I need to remain strong for the both of us and just say NO!

37 weeks- Wintermelon, Romaine Lettuce?? I could've sworn I've been lettuce three times now
Doing anything baby related this week?
Trying to will her out of me.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
Just still cranky about the prodromal labor I had earlier this week, but other than that, things are about the same - pelvic stiffness and soreness, swelling of lots of random body parts, and fatigue. Just general I'm-effing-over-this feelings.
GTKY #1: Do you have a formal birth plan put together?
We let the doctors know the basics - breastfeeding, epidural, skin-to-skin, etc. I did make sure to tell them that if an emergency C-section is ordered that I do want a tubal ligation. So it's in my record but I don't have formal, printed copies to hand out.
Plans for the weekend:
Best friend, her husband, and 6 month old baby are coming to stay the weekend. I definitely need to clean the house but I'm putting that off as long as humanly possible. She'll understand, haha! Also going to a rugby tournament next to the beach tomorrow. Under normal conditions, that would be super fun to look forward to, but since I'm day-to-day on how I feel, I'm a little apprehensive.
35 weeks, pineapple
Doing anything baby related this week?
My last shower is this Saturday, can't wait to see everyone. Also, moving into our new condo on Monday, I can finally start organizing the nursery and order furniture! Lastly, I am sending the thank you notes for the 1st of my 3 showers.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
I am so tired, I just want to lay down in a bed all day, and never have to leave. Swollen ankles and feet, and minor aches and pains.
GTKY #1: Do you have a formal birth plan put together?
Nothing formal, just kind of going with the flow. I want to have a natural child birth, but if it gets too intense, then an epidural. Also, I want to breast feed and do skin-to-skin.
Plans for the weekend:
Baby shower, making the trek up to NY to it, so I will be hanging out with lots of family and friends.
