Where to find real freebies and discounts?

Has anyone come across any items and samples for babies that are truly free? I feel like I find a lot and end up filling out long forms and never get anywhere. I'm having twins and any samples I can find or really good discounts would do wonders. I happened to find them easily with my first daughter 5 1/2 years ago, but now it seems impossible. Anyone find any good freebies?

you can totally sign up for similac strong moms and any other formula brand. They'll send you tons of samples. I know a lot of companies out there will offer you free sling or free carseat cover, but you do have to provide shipping.

and any registry you start will give you coupons for things.

I would not use the Seven sling. It's not even worth the cost of shipping. If you want to try a sling at a low cost, you can sew them pretty easily or buy used. Sleeping Baby Productions has sewing instructions and slings available at many cost points.

Fwiw I didn't find many "freebies" with my first, nor have I pursued any with this babe. I may just be picky though. I ended up tossing Or donating whatever free things I got (registry welcome kits, etc) and I remember being underwhelmed with the coupons. I've had the most luck at Consignment shops and sales - especially for gear and clothing for new babes. I also grab a lot of things on a local mom swap on Facebook, those prices are even cheaper than consignment usually.
