Hi everyone,
I've been lurking here on and off for about a month now (sounds creepier than it is). I was pretty active in TTGP but once we started down the RE road, I stopped participating as much. A little background, my H & I are both 32 and have been TTGP/NTNP for over a year. We both have some health issues (I'm hypothyroid) and so were referred to an RE back in May. We went through a bunch of testing and have come to the diagnosis of DOR for me and moderate male factor for H (low volume). We had our follow up appointment with our RE and HSG on Tuesday and have decided that we're going to begin our IVF journey. I go back for a saline ultrasound this afternoon (they saw a shadow on my uterus during the HSG and just want to ensure there isn't any scar tissue) and then we'll be signing our consents for IVF and receiving our protocol. They started me on BCP on Tuesday and want me to take those for 3 weeks before we start the injectable suppression meds.
As I'm sure you all do, I have such mixed feelings about this decision and all that comes along with it. I hope you'll let me hang out here, jump in the discussions and learn from you all!

I'm sorry you find yourself here but welcome! If you haven't already, I highly suggest jumping on the June/July IVF board as there are many ladies just starting their IVF journey on there and great support! I don't know how I would have made it through this process without them!
