Step dad Father's Day wording

We're getting engraved items for the grandpas for Father's Day. For FIL and my dad thinking of "The best dads get promoted to grandpa" but I also have a step dad (since I was very little, he's just a straight up grandpa to Baby boy) but I still don't want to say "dad" on that one. 
anyone have ideas for the wording???

    Maybe his can say the best men get promoted to grandpa? Or maybe special men get promoted to grandpa? Idk if that would be weird or not... I don't have a step dad so this might be totally not a helpful suggestion! Haha

    What about father instead of dad?

    Edited to add: copy away! I doubt our dads would ever compare gifts :wink:
